The bilungual movie ‘ Nenjil thunivirundhal’, directed by Suseenthran turned out to be a good family entertainer. This movie will the stepping stone in actor Sundeep’s career. The combination of actor Vikranth and Sundeep was really good. Comedian Soori and Appukutty travelled throughout the film and scored well for their humour sense. Director’s effort on bringing out a good story with major twist and turns was very evident.
This movie revolves on 2 friends- MAHESH AND KUMAR played by actor Vikranth and actor sundeep and their love, their bond and the problems they face together. Actor Mehrene, a newface in Tamil cinema played the love interest of Sundeep. The childh artist Sathiga, who was often seen to be a sister played as the love interest of Vikranth and the sister of Sundeep.Director makes the audience think that the villain-Duraipandi playes by HarishUthaman tries to kill Vikranth. But is he really trying to kill him? Who gave him money to kill Mahesh? What is the reason behind following these characters is the major plot.
Actor Sundeep yet again delivered justice for his role.Vikranth, with his subtle acting, made a connection with the audience. Though Mehrene’s lip sync wasn’t perfect and she appeared only for less scenes , she played her role perfectly . Soori’s oneliners and Appukutty wasnt quite well utilised but they traveled throughout the film. The typical characterisation of the villain- Harish Uthaman suited him really well. Sathiga’s role on being the love interest of Vikranth seems to be a turning point in her carreer. Music director Imman.D gave an amazing background music but failed to connect with audience through the songs. The cinematography was done by Lakshman and the editor was Kasi Vishwan. Though the story lacked depth and was a big slow in the first half , the directors work in the second half kept the audience thinking about the very next scene .Producer Antony along with his crew did not fail to entertain the audience with their massive bilungual tamil/telugu movie Nenjil Thunivirundhal .
