Kalavaadiya Pozhuthugal Movie Review Retrospect

For a love story which always ends in a success story is totally shattered by Thankar Bachan in his own style of narrating the film and his own set of slow and heavy screenplay for the audiences . But does the movie actually work with the current gen audiences ! You have got to see the review here

Kalavadiya pozhudhugal is a tamil romance film written and directed by Thankar Bachan having Prabhu Deva , Bhoomika Chawla and Prakash Raj in the lead roles .

Prabhu deva excelled in every scene that he possibly is in and bhoomika on the other hand not given such a capable role for her to play . Prakash raj as always played th business man role at his best .

Some scenes even if it were old actually resembled to the current system and the concept of socialism was explained beautifully as the hero himself was a socialist . The song “cheran enge cholan enge “ was really apt for the movie . Sathyaraj’s cameo appearance had really created the impact needed for the film .

The music was a bit dull and could have been given better as the music slowed down the screenplay even more . Score given by Bharathwaj . The dead slow screen play could not hold up the audiences more to the movie as they real easily get bored . The cinematography was not real apt for the film and it could have been better .

Overall the movies concept was good and could have hit the audiences real hard if it had released 10 years earlier . But not not too enjoyable nor engage able .

TimesOfCinema Verdict :- The movie will be enjoyed by all Thankar Bhachan fans but really not by other cinema goers .

TimesOfCinema Rating :- 2.5 / 5
