Today sept 10th i complete 21 years of my journey as an actor in the film industry. My first film #chellamay released this day in 2004. On this lovely milestone and occasion,
I express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to my parents, my mentor #ActionKing Arjun sir, and Father Rajanayagam of Loyola College.
I stepped foot into the film industry with many dreams as an asst director but your love, your trust, and your applause and appreciation, transformed me from being one among you into an actor who lives to entertain one and all. I would like to reiterate that i dont see this journey as my personal success — I see it as OUR success.
To the producers who gave me opportunities, the directors who shaped me, the music composers,who took me to every nook and corner of this world through their songs,lyricists cinematographers, technicians, co-actors, workers who toiled with me in every film, and ther theater owners, distributors, and theatre operators who brought my movies to you. And how can I forget my dearest media friends. Journalists and all forms of media who hav made me a responsible actor/person time and again— my sincere thanks to each and every one of you.
But… above all this, the children of GOD ,the greatest force I consider as my lifeblood — my audience,my fans.
Your love, from not just Tamil Nadu but all over the world, is what keeps me alive.
Your belief is my strength. Even if I fall, you are the voice of encouragement that lifts me up.
In these 21 years, no matter how many trials and challenges I faced, you stood by me, like a friend offering your shoulder beside me.
Every step I take, every story I choose, every moment I live — is for you.

This journey isn’t ending… it’s just the beginning.
Recognized by you all, I decided i will not stop with just words of gratitude.but give back to the aociety through my “Devi Foundation,” we continue to support the education of underprivileged and deserving girls and boys from villages in every state.

என் உயிர் ரசிகர்களே, என் அன்பு நண்பர்களே எனது பேரன்புகொண்ட பொதுமக்களே வணக்கம்,
இன்று நான் நடிகனாக திரையுலகில் பயணித்து 21 ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவு செய்துள்ளேன். இந்த தருணத்தில் என் பெற்றோர்க்கும், என் குருநாதர் ஆக்ஷன் கிங் திரு.அர்ஜுன் அவர்களுக்கும், லயோலா கல்லூரி ஆசிரியர் பாதர் இராஜநாயகம் அவர்களுக்கும், மேலும் என்னை உயர்த்தி அழகு பார்த்த அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கத்துடன் நன்றியினை தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.
பல கனவுடன் திரையுலகில் அடியெடுத்து வைத்த என்னை, இன்று உங்கள் அன்பினால், உங்களின் நம்பிக்கையில், உங்கள் கரகோஷத்தில் வாழும் நடிகனாக மாறியிருக்கிறேன். இந்த வெற்றி பயணத்தில் என்னுடைய வெற்றியாக இல்லாமல் நமக்கான வெற்றியாக பார்க்கிறேன்.
எனக்கு வாய்ப்பளித்த தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், என்னை செதுக்கிய இயக்குனர்கள் என்னுடன் ஒவ்வொரு படத்திலும் உழைத்த இசையமைப்பாளர்கள், ஒளிப்பதிவாளர்கள், தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள், துணை நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் தொழிலாளர்கள் மேலும் என் படங்களை உங்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்த்த திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்கள், வெளியீட்டாளர்கள், விநியோகஸ்தர்கள், திரையரங்கு ஆப்பரேட்டர்கள் மற்றும் எனது வெற்றிக்கு உறுதுணையாக இருந்த பத்திரிகை நண்பர்கள், ஊடக நண்பர்கள், சமூக ஊடகவியலாளர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றிகள்.
ஆனால்… இவைகளை எல்லாம் விட பெரிய சக்தியாக நான் கருதுவது என் உயிரான என் ரசிகர்கள். தமிழ் நாடு மட்டுமின்றி உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள ரசிகர்களான உங்கள் அன்பே என் உயிர்.
உங்கள் நம்பிக்கையே என் வலிமை. “நான் விழுந்தாலும் என்னை எழவைக்கும் ஏழுச்சி குரல்” நீங்கள் தான்.
என் நம்பிக்கையும் நீங்கள் தான்.
இந்த இருபத்தொன்று ஆண்டுகளில் எத்தனை சோதனைகளும், எத்தனை சவால்களும் வந்தாலும், எனக்கு துணையாக நின்று, என் அருகில் தோல் கொடுக்கும் தோழனாக இருந்தது நீங்கள் தான்.
நான் எடுத்து வைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு படியும், நான் தேர்வு செய்யும் ஒவ்வொரு கதையும், நான் வாழும் ஒவ்வொரு நொடியும், உங்களுக்காகவே இருக்கும். உங்களை மகிழ்விக்கவே இருக்கும்.
இந்த பயணம் முடிவடையவில்லை… இது ஒரு தொடக்கமே.
நான் வெறும் நன்றி என்ற வார்த்தைகளால் முடிக்காமல் உங்களால் அடையாளம் காட்டப்பட்ட நான் எனது “தேவி அறக்கட்டளை” மூலம் ஏழை, எளிய பெண் கல்விக்கும் மாணவ, மாணவிகள் முன்னேற்றத்திற்க்காக செயல்படுத்தி வருகிறோம், எம்மக்களுக்கு என்னால் முடிந்த உதவிகளை நானும் என் இயக்கமும் என்றென்றும் செய்வோம்.
நான் உங்களில் ஒருவன், உங்களுக்காக எப்போதும் குரல் கொடுப்பேன் என்பதை உறுதியளிக்கிறேன்.
