புதுமுக நடிகர் ரங்கராஜ் தயாரித்து, இயக்கி, கதையின் நாயகனாக நடித்திருக்கும் ‘கட்ஸ் ( GUTS) திரைப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னையில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.

‘கட்ஸ்’ திரைப்படத்தில் ரங்கராஜ், ஸ்ருதி நாராயணன், ஸ்ரீலேகா, டெல்லி கணேஷ், சாய் தீனா உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். மனோஜ் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்திருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்திற்கு ஜோஸ் பிராங்களின் இசையமைத்திருக்கிறார். ஆக்ஷன் என்டர்டெய்னராக தயாராகி இருக்கும் இப்படத்தை ஓ பி ஆர் பி புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் சார்பில் தயாரிப்பாளர் ஜெயபாரதி ரங்கராஜ் தயாரித்திருக்கிறார்.

விரைவில் வெளியாகவிருக்கும் இத்திரைப்படத்தின் இசை மற்றும் முன்னோட்ட வெளியிட்டு விழாவில் இயக்குநர் ரங்கராஜ், நடிகை ஸ்ருதி நாராயணன், ஜாக்குவார் தங்கம், கில்ட் செயலாளர் துரைசாமி, டைகர் சக்கரவர்த்தி, ஷிவானி செந்தில், சத்யபதி, இஸ்மாயில், ஸ்ரீலேகா உள்ளிட்ட பலர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

இந்நிகழ்வில் இயக்குநர் ஷிவானி செந்தில் பேசுகையில், ”இப்படத்தின் இயக்குநர்-நடிகர் ரங்கராஜ் எனது நண்பர். சினிமா மீது அளவு கடந்த ஆசை கொண்டிருப்பவர். சினிமாவிற்காக தன் திறமைகளை வளர்த்துக் கொண்டவர். சினிமாவில் வெற்றி என்ற ஒன்று முக்கியமானதாக இருக்கிறது. என்னை பொருத்தவரை இந்த மேடையில் அவர் வீற்றிருப்பதே வெற்றி தான். இதனால் அவரை நான் முதலில் பாராட்டுகிறேன், வரவேற்கிறேன்.
சினிமாவை எடுப்பதற்கு அனைவருக்கும் ஆசை இருக்கும். இன்றைக்கு ரங்கராஜிற்கு இருந்தது. பத்து வருடங்களுக்கு முன்பு வெற்றிமாறனுக்கு இருந்தது. இதற்கான உழைப்பு, போராட்டங்கள் வேறு வேறு. இருந்தாலும் இந்த ஆசையை தடுப்பது ஒன்றே ஒன்றுதான் அது பயம். என்னால் முடியுமா என்ற பயம் வந்து விட்டால் யாராலும் படம் எடுக்க முடியாது. அந்த பயம் நீங்க வேண்டும் என்றால் கொஞ்சம் நம்பிக்கை வேண்டும், கொஞ்சம் போராட வேண்டும். என்னால் முடியும் என்று நம்பிக்கை வைத்து விட்டால் படம் எடுக்க முடியும். பயப்படாமல் இருந்தால் சினிமாவில் ஜெயிக்கலாம். இந்த படம் வெற்றி பெற வாழ்த்துகிறேன்,” என்றார்.

ஜாக்குவார் தங்கம் பேசுகையில், ”கட்ஸ் படத்தின் டிரைலரை பார்த்தோம். மிகச் சிறப்பாக இருக்கிறது. படக் குழுவினருக்கு வாழ்த்து தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன். புதுமுக ஹீரோ சிறப்பாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். திரையில் அட்டகாசமான ஆக்சன் ஹீரோவாக இருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படம் மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றியைப் பெற வேண்டும் என வாழ்த்துகிறேன்,” என்றார்.

கில்டு செயலாளர் துரைசாமி பேசுகையில், ”இந்தப் படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர், ஹீரோ, டைரக்டர் ரங்கராஜ் எனக்கு தம்பி மாதிரி. அதனால் இந்தப் படக்குழுவுடன் எனக்கு நெருக்கமான தொடர்பு உண்டு. அன்புத்தம்பி ரங்கராஜ் இயக்கி இருக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படம் மாபெரும் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும் என வாழ்த்துகிறேன்.

நடிகர்-தயாரிப்பாளர்-இயக்குநர் ரங்கராஜ் பேசுகையில், ”கலைத் தாய்க்கு என் முதல் வணக்கம். சினிமாவில் நடிகராகி விட வேண்டும் என்று நான் 25 ஆண்டு காலமாக போராடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். வாய்ப்பு கேட்கும் இடங்களில் எல்லாம் பணம் பணம் என்ற ஒன்றைத்தான் கேட்டார்கள். ஒரு கட்டத்திற்கு மேல் மன உளைச்சல் ஆகி, விலகி விடலாம் என தீர்மானித்து விட்டேன். அப்போது என்னுடைய நண்பர்கள் குறும்படங்களை இயக்கினார்கள், 15 லட்சத்தில் ஒரு படத்தினை தயாரிக்க முடியும் என்றார்கள். இது எனக்கு நம்பிக்கையை தந்தது. படத்தை தயாரிக்க தொடங்கினேன். படத் தயாரிப்பு குறித்து எனக்கு எதுவும் அப்போது தெரியாது. படத்தின் பணிகள் தொடங்கிய பிறகுதான் 15 லட்சத்தில் ஒரு படத்தில் உருவாக்க முடியாது என்பதை தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். முன்வைத்த காலை பின் வைக்க கூடாது என்பதற்காக தொடர்ந்து போராடினேன். சின்ன வயதில் இருந்தே நான் குவாலிட்டி விஷயத்தில் காம்ப்ரமைஸ் ஆக மாட்டேன். இந்த சமயத்தில் என்னுடைய குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்கள் அனைவரும் எனக்கு பக்கபலமாக நின்றார்கள். இதற்காக அவர்களுக்கு நன்றி சொல்கிறேன்.

Presenting a love story that transcends religious boundaries with a deep-rooted connection to the land, ‘Christina Kathirvelan’ is an upcoming film produced by Dr. R. Prabakar Sthapathi of Dharasuram in Kumbakonam under the Sri Lakshmi Dream Factory banner. The film is helmed by director SJN Alex Pandian.

The movie has Durga Devi Pandian as the co-producer. Set against the backdrop of a college in Kumbakonam, the film stars Kaushik Ram and Prathiba in lead roles.

With soul-stirring music composed by N.R. Raghunandan, ‘Christina Kathirvelan’ is rapidly gaining momentum.

The lead role is played by Kaushik Ram, known for his performance in ‘Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham’. Making her Tamil debut, Prathiba who won hearts with her role in Malayalam movie ‘Kondal’ plays the female lead.

He added, “Kaushik Ram, who played an urban youth in ‘Kaalangalil Aval Vasantham’, has undergone a complete transformation for ‘Christina Kathirvelan’, which is set in Kumbakonam and its surrounding villages. Prathiba’s skillful acting and the way she expresses emotions have been praised by the team. Inspired by real-life events, the film’s biggest strength is its music by N.R. Raghunanthan. Like the background score of 2023 film ‘Ayothi’, the music of ‘Christina Kathirvelan’ too will be celebrated. Prahath Muniyasami’s cinematography is another highlight, adding depth to every frame.”

Speaking exclusively on Kuhl Fans Match Centre Live on JioHotstar, JioStar expert Sanjay Manjrekar shared his thoughts on Mumbai Indians performance: “Mumbai Indians didn’t look in the race when they lost two wickets for 35. In comparison, Gujarat Titans had around 129 runs for their first two wickets. After that, it seemed like Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav were trying to build a partnership. The challenge with building a partnership in a chase of over 190 is that the required run rate starts to suffer, and that’s exactly what happened. In the end, you have to say that Gujarat Titans batted better—I thought they got maybe 15 to 20 runs over par. The dew never came in, which made Mumbai’s job even more difficult. But despite all that, two losses are quite typical for Mumbai Indians. They still seem to be on the right track to go on and win the title.”

Analysing Mumbai Indians’ batting performance in the last two matches, JioStar expert Sanjay Manjrekar acknowledged the ongoing struggles for the MI batters, he said:“Rohit Sharma is clearly going through a phase. He’s not the Rohit Sharma of, say, three to four years ago. He’s at a stage in his career where he has to push himself every morning—train hard and be at his best—because things are slipping away for him. He’s still relying on his natural talent and instincts. Ryan Rickelton, being a South African, will take time to adjust to Indian pitches. Very few South African batters, barring AB de Villiers and Heinrich Klaasen, have truly flourished on Indian pitches. So, we’ll have to give him time. Apart from that, Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav, along with Robin Minz and some of the other players, form the batting line-up. However, to me, it still looks a little unconvincing. And a lot of them rely on pitches where the ball comes onto the bat nicely. There’s pace and bounce, and even in that chase where they needed 12 or 13 runs, if it had been at Wankhede Stadium, they would have likely come very close to the target.”

JioStar expert Ambati Rayudu commented on Prasidh Krishna’s and Mohammed Siraj’s performances: “There were some crucial breakthroughs, but Prasidh has not given away any runs. He has been very smart on this pitch today. Speaking about his slower ball, it is quite unique—it’s like a globe spinning on its axis. He took both of his wickets with slower balls. As for Siraj, I have seen him bowl out batsmen many times. His in-swinger is much faster than his out-swinger because he cuts his wrist when attempting the out-swinger, which reduces his pace and causes the ball to start swinging earlier than needed. However, his in-swinger is quite effective, and today he stuck to it after conceding two boundaries.”

JioStar expert Sanjay Manjrekar shared his thoughts on Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan’s partnership:

“Shubman Gill is still not firing on all cylinders, but that will happen very soon. Sai Sudharsan is a special talent—you almost got the impression that he was trying to anchor the innings. He played nearly the entire innings and got out in the 18th over, but his strike rate is never just 110 or 120; it’s always 130 or 140 and above. He’s someone to keep an eye on. He has already played for India, but he keeps reminding us of his exceptional talent. Jos Buttler is also raring to go.
