இயக்குநர் பாலா தனது திரையுலகப் பயணத்தில் 25வது வருடத்தில் இருக்கிறார். ஆனால், “நான் சினிமாவில் சாதித்துவிட்டதாக நினைக்கவில்லை. அதில் எனக்கு திருப்தியும் இல்லை.. ஆனால் என் படங்கள் வந்த பிறகு தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கொஞ்சம் மாற்றம் ஏற்பட்டதாக பலர் சொலும்போது சின்னதாக ஒரு சந்தோசம். ஆனால் அதற்காக நான் மார்தட்டிக்கொள்ள விரும்பவில்லை” என்கிறார் தன்னடக்கத்துடன்.
வணங்கான் ஜாலியாகத் தொடங்கி, முடியும்போது கனத்த மௌனத்தை படம் பார்க்கும் ஒவ்வொருவரின் மனதிலும் ஏற்படுத்தும் என்பது உறுதி.

ஆருத்ரன் பிக்சர்ஸ் சார்பில், S.முருகன் தயாரிப்பில், அறிமுக இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் பாண்டியன் இயக்கத்தில் கமர்ஷியல் எண்டர்டெயினராக உருவாகியுள்ள படம் “கொஞ்ச நாள் பொறு தலைவா”. விரைவில் வெளிவரவிருக்கும் இப்படத்தின் இறுதிக்கட்ட பணிகள் பரபரப்பாக நடந்து வருகிறது.

The much-awaited ‘Vanangaan’, produced by Suresh Kamatchi of V House Productions, and directed by Bala, features Arun Vijay in the lead role, and Roshini Prakash as the female lead. The film is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on January 10, marking the festive occasion of Pongal.
It’s a pre-written fact that actors after their collaboration with director Bala scale greater heights, and it’s been the same with the actresses as well. It has been very much illustrious with the names Abitha, Laila, Pooja, Janani Iyer, and Varalaxmi, who have reached stupendous stature after experiencing his Midas-touch.
Interestingly, as soon as the announcement was made that Roshini Prakash will be playing the female lead in Bala’s ‘Vanangaan’, the expectations sky-rocked to the peaks.
The actress embarked on her journey in 2016 and continued to enthrall audiences with her outstanding performances in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil movies. Significantly, her recent Kannada release ‘Murphy’, captured the attention of Indian audiences for her splendiferous performance. It is noteworthy that the actress had played a pivotal role in Late actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s Lucky Man. Besides, she had already made her appearance in the Tamil movie titled ‘Jada’, but she feels that ‘Vanangaan’ is going to be her breakthrough in the industry. With the film releasing shortly, the actress shares her working experience in this movie.
She starts off saying, “I got an opportunity for the audition of ‘Vanangaan’ after the team came across my profile. I was asked to perform few scenes, and immediately was selected to play the respective role.”
“There has always been few hearsay stating that Bala sir is always stubborn and harsh on the sets to all his artistes. But what I witnessed and experienced on the sets was totally contrastive. He made sure that all the actors have clarity about the scene and beautifully extracted the best performances from them.”

To be precise, working with versatile directors like Samuthirakani, Mysskin, AL Vijay gave me a learning experience in Masterclass.
They never treated me like a newcomer, and came forward helping and sharing their inputs that escalated my performance during the shooting. To be a part of film with four amazing directors is a rare opportunity and I feel blessed for being gifted with it.
I got more acquainted with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s mother Chaya Devi, who is performing a crucial role in this movie. More than acting before camera, we spent quality time and got closer on the sets. I started missing her, when she would depart from the sets of Kanyakumari, and she always made me feel like home with her presence.
I inherited the discipline and decorum that should be maintained on the shooting spot after working with director Bala sir. Although I have worked in three different regional industries, ‘Vanangaan’ will be a special and close one to my heart. Working in this film has given me the clarity to handle my future in the industry.
To be precise, many didn’t know me before signing this project, and I got familiar after working in this movie. I will always consider this as a lucky project,” says Roshini Prakash.

பொதுவாகவே பாலா சார் படப்பிடிப்பில் கடுமையாக நடந்து கொள்வார் என்பது போன்று சில செய்திகள் கேள்விப்பட்டிருந்தேன். ஆனால் படப்பிடிப்பிற்கு சென்றபோது தான் அது எதுவுமே உண்மை அல்ல என்பதைப் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடிந்தது. அந்த அளவிற்கு தனக்கு என்ன தேவையோ அதை அழகாக நம்மிடம் விளக்கி அவருக்கு வேண்டிய நடிப்பை பெற்றுக் கொள்வார்.
பாலா சாரின் படங்களில் நடிக்கும் அனைவருக்குமே மிக முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கப்படும். நான் இந்த படத்தில் நடித்துள்ள கதாபாத்திரம் எனது திரையுலகப் பயணத்தில் இதுவரை நான் நடித்ததிலேயே கடினமான ஒன்று. இந்த கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்த பிறகு இனி அடுத்து எந்த படம் வந்தாலும் எந்த கதாபாத்திரம் கொடுத்தாலும் நடிக்கக்கூடிய துணிச்சலை இந்த படம் கொடுத்துள்ளது.

இயக்குநர்கள் சமுத்திரக்கனி, மிஸ்கின், ஏ எல் விஜய் என மிகப் பெரிய ஜாம்பவான்கள் இயக்குநர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து பணியாற்றியதால் ‘வணங்கான்’ படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு எனக்கு ஒரு மாஸ்டர் கிளாஸ் போல தான் இருந்தது.
இவர்களுடன் இணைந்து நடிக்கும்போது தங்களை ஒரு பெரிய இயக்குநர்களாகவோ நடிகர்களாகவோ அவர்கள் ஒருபோதும் நினைத்துக் கொள்வதில்லை. புதியவர் தானே என யாரையும் நினைக்காமல் அவர்களுக்கு வேண்டியதையும் கற்றுக் கொடுக்கிறார்கள். இப்படி நான்கு இயக்குநர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து ஒரே படத்தில் பணியாற்றுவது என்பது ரொம்பவே அரிதாக கிடைக்கக்கூடிய வாய்ப்பு. அது எனக்கு கிடைத்திருக்கிறது.
அதேபோல நடிகை வரலட்சுமி சரத்குமாரின் தாயார் சாயாதேவி அம்மா இந்த படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்திருக்கிறார். அவருடன் காட்சிகளில் நடித்ததை விட செட்டில் அவருடன் இருந்த சமயத்தில் அவர் மீது எனக்கு நெருங்கிய பிணைப்பு உருவானது.
கன்னியாகுமரி போன்ற இடங்களில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்ற போது அவருக்கு படப்பிடிப்பு இல்லை என சில நேரங்களில் கிளம்பி ஊருக்கு சென்று விட்டால் அவர் திரும்பி வரும் வரை ஏதோ மிஸ் பண்ணியது போன்று இருக்கும். அவருடன் அமர்ந்து பேசும்போது எனக்கு என் வீட்டாருடன் இருப்பது போன்ற ஒரு உணர்வு கிடைத்தது.

வெளிப்படையாகவே சொன்னால் இந்த படத்தில் நடிப்பதற்கு முன்பு வரை என்னை அவ்வளவாக யாருக்கும் தெரியாது. இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்க ஆரம்பித்த பின்பு தான் என்னைப் பற்றி ஓரளவுக்கு வெளியே தெரிய ஆரம்பித்தது. அந்த வகையில் இது ஒரு அதிர்ஷ்ட வாய்ப்பு என்று தான் சொல்வேன்” என்று கூறினார் ரோஷினி பிரகாஷ்..

Their Magical collaborations have gifted limitless musical bonanzas to everyone. After a long hiatus, both are joining hands again for a Tamil movie ‘Nesippaya’. The film is all set to have its worldwide theatrical release on January 14, 2025, for the Pongal festival. Music Director Yuvan Shankar Raja brims with more glee for working on this project as it gave maximum scope for the musical quotients.
Yuvan Shankar Raja says, “It’s always been a delight to work with my friend Vishnuvardhan, and the fans have never missed celebrating our collaborations. As we started working together after a long time, we felt the responsibility to make sure that music lovers have something to celebrate, and we are glad that songs have been very well received by them.”
He continues to add, “Nesippaya will have ‘Music’ as a character for the film, which has lots of emotions, romance, and action and demands the best musical accompaniment. Vishnuvardhan and his technical crew always ensure a visual engrossment, and when I came across the raw footage, it looked perfect. Eventually, I felt like a whole lot of responsibility was upon me to make sure that the hard work of actors and technicians was complimented by decent music. I am curious and excited to watch the film with the audience in the theatres on Jan 12.
Nesippaya features Akash Murali and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles. The others in the star cast include Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Khushboo Sundar, Raja, Kalki Koechlin, Shiva Pandit and a few more actors.

Among the key observations for December, Inferior Wall Myocardial Infarctions (IWMI) were found to be the dominant form of STEMI, with the Right Coronary Artery (RCA) identified as the primary culprit in 8 of the 15 cases. This seasonal trend, which has been consistently observed in previous years, highlights the increased incidence of IWMI cases during the winter months. Recognizing the heightened risk during this time, Kauvery Hospital remains vigilant, prepared, and responsive in delivering timely interventions for the best possible outcomes for patients.
A particularly notable achievement this month has been the improvement in Door-to-Balloon (D2B) time—the time taken from patient admission to angioplasty intervention. Kauvery Hospital has set a new benchmark with an impressive average D2B time of just 49 minutes, which is significantly shorter than International Standard time of 90 minutes . This achievement shows that providing swift, efficient, and life-saving treatment to STEMI patients, significantly reduces the time to reperfusion therapy, which is crucial for minimizing heart muscle damage and improving survival rates.
Primary angioplasty has been a cornerstone of Kauvery Hospital’s approach to heart attack management. Primary angioplasty, also known as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), is the gold-standard treatment for STEMI patients who present within the critical window after the onset of symptoms. Unlike thrombolytic therapy, which involves clot-busting medications, primary angioplasty aims to mechanically open up blocked coronary arteries by using a catheter and a balloon, followed by the placement of a stent to maintain the artery’s patency.

In comparison, patients receiving thrombolysis, particularly those presenting later, have a hospital mortality rate of around 10% to 15%. Fast intervention times are crucial, with hospitals that manage to achieve Door-to-Balloon times under 60 minutes reporting a 5% reduction in mortality compared to those with longer intervention times.
