Tamil Nadu Minister for School Education, Tamil Development, and Information & Publicity Raj Mohan Officially Launches Romeo Pictures’ New Production Venture
Romeo Pictures, known for consistently delivering quality and successful films in Tamil cinema, has officially launched its next prestigious production venture with a grand pooja ceremony. Produced by Raahul under the Romeo Pictures banner, the film stars Akash Murali in the lead role and marks the directorial debut of Harshavarthan.
Tamil Nadu Minister for School Education, Tamil Development, and Information & Publicity, Raj Mohan, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He extended his wishes to the team and officially inaugurated the film. Notably, Raj Mohan had made his directorial debut with Baba Black Sheep, which was produced by Romeo Pictures. Now serving as a minister, his presence to launch the banner’s latest project added special significance to the event.
Acclaimed filmmaker H. Vinoth and actor Ravi Mohan also attended the ceremony and conveyed their best wishes to the cast and crew.
Director Harshavarthan, who previously worked as an Associate Director under H. Vinoth, is making his directorial debut with this film.
Set against the backdrop of the early 1970s, the film revolves around the fascinating world of horse racing. It narrates the inspiring journey of an honest and ambitious young man, capturing his struggles, dreams, determination, and eventual success.
The team is currently engaged in extensive pre-production work to authentically recreate 1970s Madras (Chennai) on screen. Every effort is being made to meticulously portray the lifestyle, culture, and unique atmosphere of that era.
Having earned a reputation for backing distinctive stories and commercially successful films, Romeo Pictures is producing this project on a grand scale with substantial investment and high production values.

The trailer and audio of the upcoming musical drama Charukesi was unveiled by Superstar Rajinikanth on 21st May, marking a memorable moment for the entire team of the film. Directed by veteran filmmaker Suresh Krissna, produced by Arun Visualz and worldwide release by E5 Entertainments J Jayakrishnan, Charukesi promises to be a soulful cinematic experience deeply rooted in music, emotions, and culture.

Team ‘Double Occupancy’ Interacts with the Media Ahead of Release
The star cast and technicians of the upcoming romantic fantasy entertainer Double Occupancy, jointly produced by Avni Movies and Benzz Media, recently met the press during the film’s grand audio- visual event held in Chennai.

Following the remarkable critical acclaim and encouraging box office reception of Yaathisai, filmmaker Dharani Rasendran has successfully completed the shooting of his much-anticipated next directorial venture.
