The event is taking place right now in Hong Kong. It is a very prestigious event. The magnum opus PS1 has been produced by Mr.Subaskaran of Lyca Productions and Mr.Mani Ratnam of Madras Talkies.
Eka Lakhani (nominated for best costume design), Sreekar Prasad (nominated for best editing), Ravi Varman (nominated for best cinematography) are in Hong Kong along with Mr.Siva Ananth (executive producer of Madras Talkies) and Mr.Tamil Kumaran (Head of Lyca Productions). PS1 has also been nominated for Best Film.
Mr.Thota Tharrani and Mr.A.R. Rahman have also been nominated for best production design and for best original music respectively.

Mega Power Star thanks fans for making his US trip memorable
Global Star Ram Charan loves to engage with his fans from time to time. His fans have an out-of-the-world experience when they get to interact with him on special occasions. At a time when he is in the US in the run-up to Sunday’s Oscars event, the Mega Power Star spared no efforts to give his US-based fans an opportunity to be with him.
In Los Angeles, the ‘RRR’ actor was in for immense love from his international fan base. He met his fans from different States of the US in Los Angeles on March 11th.
The meet-and-greet, organized by several fan groups and associations in the country, took place at Los Feliz Blvd. It began with a formal puja followed by Ram Charan getting onto the dais amid cheers by his loyal fans.
The fans’ enthusiasm and cheers were met with love and warmth on the part of the ‘Rangasthalam’ sensation. The event provided an opportunity for fans to interact with their favourite actor, take photographs, and get closer on an emotional level to him.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Charan said, “I am very happy to meet my fans from different states of the USA. Their love and support have always motivated me to do better. You have come here by travelling long distances. You travelled by road and air. It’s always a pleasure to interact with my fans and I thank the Mega Fans Association for organizing this event. We are standing here today because of your unconditional love.”
Charan greeted his young fans and described the ongoing US trip as a special one (because of the Oscar nomination for ‘Naatu Naatu’). “I am saying this as an Indian. As a Telugu person, we are creating history. The value of what has been achieved today will be known a few years down the line,” the Mega Power Star said.
In his speech, he also referred to the stupendous reception that ‘Waltair Veerayya’ enjoyed recently. He talked about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s famous interaction with overseas fans via a Zoom call in January.
The ‘RRR’ star also appreciated the fan groups for mobilizing donations and organizing different drives for noble purposes.
Ram Charan made it a point to make fans believe that they mean the world to him. He went from one table to another and posed for pics with die-hard fans. The Mega Fans association USA thanked him for the memorable and invaluable gesture.

Brand Exchange’s first-of-its-kind initiative aims to cut production cost of costumes used in movies with win-win solution for producers, brands and costumers
Leading producers from South Indian film industry took part in the Media Tech Summit hosted by Brand Exchange (www.brandxchange.media) at GRT Grand, Chennai, on Saturday evening.
A panel discussion on the topic ‘Futuristic Media Tech’ was held as part of the event during which how transforming technology, revenue development and innovative entrepreneurship are changing the new-age film industry was discussed.
Founded by Sivakumar R, a professional with over two decades of experience with great track record in business planning and revenue identification among other areas, Brand Exchange is a new-age platform that aims to connect producers with leading brands to generate revenue from the costumes used in the movies.
A significant amount of a film’s budget is spent on costumes. It is said that almost close to a maximum of 10 per cent of the overall budget is spent on the dresses of the actors.
There is no income from the money spent on the costumes and it is only seen as an expense in the film industry. However, Brand Exchange aims to change this scenario with the help of technology.
The platform aims to create revenue through this initiative. The costumes used by the major star cast will be pitched to the leading brands. Dresses used by actors in a particular movie will be available with these brands from where people can buy them.
The valuation assigned by the brands for these costumes will create an income to the producers.
Brandxchange founder and CEO Sivakumar R said this initiative will be a big boon to the producers. “Producers are investing a huge amount in costumes while making a film. The major work of Brand Exchange platform is to connect leading dress brands to producers. Brands, producers and costume designers will be benefitted through this initiative. The brand will sponsor the costumes of the actors, thus creating a revenue for the producer. Costumes which were once seen an expense will now become a revenue generating option. This will also make the movies colourful and create a transparent revenue mechanism. The costume designer will have a virtual market since this will act as a platform for their creativity.”

“படத்தின் கதை என்னவென்றால் ,எந்த குற்றச் செயலைச் செய்பவனும் குற்றம் செய்த இடத்தில் ஏதாவது ஒரு தடயத்தை அவனை மீறி விட்டுச் செல்வான் என்பது பிரபஞ்ச உண்மை .அப்படி இந்தப் படத்தின் கதையில் குற்ற நிகழ்வு நடந்த இடத்தில் குற்றவாளி ஒருவன் ஒரு வார்த்தையை மட்டும் விட்டுச் செல்கிறான். அந்த வார்த்தைக்கான காரணத்தின் நுனி தேடி காவல்துறை மோப்பம் பிடித்துத் தொடர்ந்து குற்றத்தின் காலடித்தடயம் அறிந்து குற்றவாளிகளைக் கண்டுபிடித்து வழக்கை முடிப்பது தான் இந்தக் கதை. இப்படம் ஒரு தொடர் படைப்புரீதியில் உருவாக்கி உள்ளது. இதன் முந்தைய 2 பாகங்கள் விரைவில் வெளியாகும்.
