Chennai | March 10, 2023: Colors Tamil — Viacom18’s Tamil Entertainment channel — is all set to fill your weekend with action and adventure, bringing to you the World Television Premiere of ‘Indrajith’ this Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2 pm.

The visually stunning sci-fi movie engages viewers with a unique treasure hunt to discover the ‘miracle metal stone’. It stars Gautham Karthik in the lead as Indrajith along with his love interests, played by Ashritha Shetty as Smitha and Sonarika Bhadoria as Meetah.

Sachin Khadekar also plays an archaeological professor, Mayilvaganam, while Sudhanshu Pandey slips into the role of antagonist, Kapil Sharma.

Director Kalaprabhu, after making an impact with his debut film ‘Sakkara Katti’, has shifted his focus to the action-adventure genre, borrowing inspiration from many celebrated English classics such as Mackenna’s Gold. He makes it exhilarating, pitting veterans Sachin Khadekar and Sudhanshu Pandey as bitter rivals.

In his quest to discover the rare metal, which has unique medical benefits, Professor Mayilvaganam and his assistant Indrajith embark on an interesting journey that goes deep into a distant forest. Their vibrant expedition is hampered by the villain who uses his power, strength and influence to reach the metal first.

Gautham Karthik commented, “We had an amazing time doing this movie and I am happy to hear that viewers of Colors Tamil will soon become a part of the Indrajith universe. This refreshing script is sure to win the hearts of children as well as adults who love sci-fi movies.”

Sivakarthikeyan Productions has created a commendable array of movies that have owned unique story premises and excellent presentations that have appealed to the interests of both critics and audiences. The production house in association with The Little Wave Productions is glad to announce its new project titled ‘Kottukaali’. The film features Soori and Anna Ben in the lead roles, and is directed by P.S. Vinothraj of the Internationally acclaimed film ‘Koozhangal’.

Producer Sivakarthikeyan says, “Every film industry has its priceless moment when a filmmaker conceptualizes and creates a film with pure native elements, and it becomes Internationally acclaimed. Director P.S. Vinothraj is such a gem, who made our Tamil film industry proud with his riveting film ‘Koozhangal’ by winning the prestigious ‘Tiger Award’ at Rotterdam International Film Festival, whose earlier recipients have been the world’s greatest filmmakers. Working with my close friend Soori is yet another reason to get excited, and having a powerhouse talent like Anna Ben as a part of our project is elating.”

Co-producer Kalai Arasu says, “We liked director Vinothraj’s work in Koozhangal, and we are happy to be associated with him in next directorial venture. The platform today announced Bommai Nayagi a story about an emotional connection between a father and a daughter and how politics and society impact their way of life. The movie stars an ensemble cast of Yogi Babu, Harikrishnan Anbudurai, Subatra, and Srimathi in the lead roles. With an IMDb rating of 9.5, the audience can stream the movie on ZEE5 starting today.

The film revolves around Velu [Yogi Babu] a very simple and innocent person who is uncertain about protests and usually wants to stay away from the political and social problems. He is a family man and works at a tea shop in Cuddalore and everything around him revolves around his small family. When everything appears to be moving in the right direction and taking him closer to his dreams of owning a tea shop, a very horrific incident ruins his life. This Lavanya Tripathi, Sai Aadhi Kumar’s-starring ZEE5 Original is a runaway hit

Hyderabad, 9th March, 2023: ZEE5 has been relentlessly dishing out a wide variety of content in various formats in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and other languages. சமூகத்திற்கு மிக அவசியமான திரைப்படமாக உருவாகியுள்ள ‘பியூட்டி’

வித்தியாசமான கதைக்களத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘பியூட்டி’! – மார்ச் 10 ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது

அறிமுக இயக்குநர் கோ.ஆனந்த் சிவா எழுதி இயக்கியிருக்கும் படம் ‘பியூட்டி’. ஓம் ஜெயம் தியேட்டர் சார்பில் ஆர்.தீபக் குமார் தயாரித்திருக்கும் இப்படத்தில் ரிஷி கதாநாயகனாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். கதாநாயகியாக கரீனா ஷா நடித்திருக்கிறார். இவர்களுடன் காயா கபூர், சிங்கமுத்து, ஆதேஷ் பாலா, மனநல மருத்துவர் ஆனந்தன் உள்ளிட்ட பல முன்னணி நட்சத்திரங்கள் நடித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

இப்படத்தின் இயக்குநர் கோ.ஆனந்த், கே.பாக்யராஜின் பாக்யா பத்திரிகையில் பல வருடங்கள் பணியாற்றியதோடு, கே.பாக்யராஜ் உள்ளிட்ட பல இயக்குநர்களிடம் உதவி மற்றும் இணை இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். தனது முதல் படத்தை முழுமையான கமர்ஷியல் திரைப்படமாக இயக்கியிருந்தாலும், சமூகத்திற்கு தேவையான மிக முக்கியமான மெசஜையும் இப்படத்தில் சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.

”ஒத்தக் கருத்துடைய இருவர் உலகத்தில் இல்லை” என்று சொல்லப்படுவதுண்டு, மதுவில் கூட பலவிதமான மணம், நிறம், சுவை கொண்ட மது வகைகள் இருக்கின்றன… போதைக்காக என்றாலும் அவரவர்களுக்குப் பிடித்தமான மணம், நிறம், சுவையைத்தான் ஒவ்வொருவரும் விரும்புகிறார்கள், இது எல்லோருக்குமான பொதுவான ரசனை. என் கதாநாயகனுக்கும் அப்படியொரு விருப்பம் இருக்கிறது. ஆனால், நாயகியின் விருப்பம் முற்றிலும் வேறாக இருக்கிறது. இதனால், அழகான காதலில் சிக்கல்கள் உருவாகி, பெரிதாகி ஆபத்தில் போய் முடிகிறது. அந்த இளம் காதலர்களின் வாழ்க்கை என்னவாகிறது? என்பது சண்டை மற்றும் சேஸிங் காட்சிகளுடன் பரபரப்பான பொழுது போக்குப் படமாக உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

கதைக்குப் பொருத்தமான கதாபாத்திரமாய் மாறியிருக்கும் ரிஷியும், அறிமுகமாக இருந்தாலும் கதையின் தன்மையை உணர்ந்து நடித்திருக்கும் நாயகி கரீனா ஷாவும் இயல்பான நடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள்.

கதைக்கும், கதை நடக்கும் காலகட்டத்துக்கும் ஏற்ப ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்திருக்கும் ஆர்.தீபக் குமாரும், பாடல்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்லாமல் பின்னணி இசையிலும் தன்னுடைய திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்தியிருக்கும் இசையமைப்பாளர் இலக்கியனும் ’பியூட்டி’ யின் வெற்றியில் முக்கியமான பங்கு வகிக்கிறார்கள்.

‘பியூட்டி’யை பொறுப்புடன் தன் தோளில் தாங்கிக் கொண்டு உலகமெங்கும் கொண்டு சேர்த்துவிடும் உத்வேகத்தோடு பரபரப்பாக இயங்கும் தயாரிப்பாளரும் ஒளிப்பதிவாளருமான ஆர்.தீபக் குமார் அவர்களின் முயற்சியால் ’பியூட்டி’ நிச்சயமாக ஒரு வெற்றிப் படமாக அமையும்.” என்றார்.

Madras Studios & Anshu Prabhakar Films presents Filmmaker Igore directorial, Hansika Motwani starrer “Man”

Production house Madras Studios, has churned out remarkable Tamil films like 96, Romeo Juliet, Kalaba Kadhalan, and many is currently producing a film Anshu Prabhakar films, featuring Hansika Motwani in the lead role. The film titled ‘Man’, is directed by Igore (Kalaba Kadhalan fame), and features Aari Arjunan as the villain for the first time.

Sharing the reason behind titling this film ‘Man’, director Igore says, “Manhood or Manliness has become an egoistic element. Precisely, it has developed a fake identification, a male chauvinist ideology that is all about confronting and dominating women. This is the reason behind the title ‘Man’, which involves the rebellious battle of a woman against this very nature. Hansika Motwani has delivered an excellent performance in this film, and the audience will experience a never-seen-before Hansika. Aari Arjunan plays the antagonist in this film, and his dedication and performance is so extraordinary. It takes a lot of guts on his part to play such a negative role”

Man is an edge-of-seat, scary psychological thriller that features a musical score by Ghibran and cinematography by Manikandan, who worked as assistant DOP in ‘96’. Sharanya Bhagyaraj has written a screenplay that will keep the audiences glued to the screens from the beginning till the end. Pon Parthiban has penned very intense dialogues for the film. The action sequences of the film have been handle by Stunt Directors Knife Naren & Prabhu.

Director Igore has attempted incorporating the elements of Sigmund Freud’s theory involving the psychology behind the egoistic concept of ‘Manhood’.

The shooting of the final schedule of ‘Man’ is in progress.

இகோர் இயக்கத்தில்,
ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி நடித்துள்ள படம் ’மேன்’

’96’, ’ரோமியோ ஜூலியட்’, ’கலாப காதலன்’ போன்ற குறிப்பிடத்தக்க தமிழ்ப் படங்களை மெட்ராஸ் ஸ்டுடியோஸ் தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ளது. தற்போது, அன்ஷு பிரபாகர் ஃபிலிம்ஸ், ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கும் ‘மேன்’ படத்தைத் தயாரித்து வருகிறது. இகோர் (’கலாப காதலன்’ படப்புகழ்) இயக்கி வரும் இப்படத்தில் ஆரி அர்ஜுனன் முதல்முறையாக வில்லனாக நடிக்கிறார்.

இந்தப் படத்துக்கு ‘மேன்’ என்று தலைப்பு வைத்ததன் காரணத்தைப் பகிர்ந்துகொண்ட இயக்குநர் இகோர், “ஆண்மை என்பது ஒரு அகங்காரக் கூறாக மாறிவிட்டது. இது ஒரு போலி அடையாளத்தை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. மேலும், இது பெண்களை அடக்கி, ஆதிக்கம் செலுத்துவது போன்ற ஒரு பிம்பத்தையும் கட்டமைத்துள்ளது. இந்த இயற்கைக்கு எதிரான ஒரு பெண்ணின் கிளர்ச்சிப் போரை உள்ளடக்கியதே ‘மேன்’ என்ற தலைப்புக்குக் காரணம். ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி இந்த படத்தில் சிறப்பான நடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார். இதற்கு முன்பு பார்த்திராத ஹன்சிகாவை ரசிகர்கள் திரையில் பார்த்து ரசிப்பார்கள். ஆரி அர்ஜுனன் இந்த படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடிக்கிறார், அவருடைய அர்ப்பணிப்பு மற்றும் நடிப்பு மிகவும் அசாதாரணமானது. அத்தகைய எதிர்மறையான பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்க அவருக்கு நிறைய தைரியம் தேவை” எனவும் கூறினார்.

’மேன்’ திரைப்படம் சீட்டின் நுனியில் பார்வையாளர்களை அமர வைக்கும் வகையிலான சைக்காலஜிக்கல் த்ரில்லர் திரைப்படம். ’96’ படத்தில் உதவி ஒளிப்பதிவாளராகப் பணிபுரிந்த மணிகண்டன் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்கிறார் மற்றும் ஜிப்ரான் இசையமைக்கிறார். ஆரம்பம் முதல் இறுதி வரை பார்வையாளர்களை திரையில் ஒட்ட வைக்கும் திரைக்கதையை சரண்யா பாக்யராஜ் எழுதியுள்ளார். பொன் பார்த்திபன் படத்திற்கு மிக அழுத்தமான வசனங்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். படத்தின் ஆக்‌ஷன் காட்சிகளை ஸ்டண்ட் இயக்குனர்களான நைஃப் நரேன் மற்றும் பிரபு ஆகியோர் கையாண்டுள்ளனர்.

இயக்குநர் இகோர், சிக்மண்ட் பிராய்டின் கோட்பாட்டின் கூறுகளை உள்ளடக்கிய ‘ஆண்மை’ என்ற அகங்காரக் கருத்துக்குப் பின்னால் உள்ள உளவியலை வெளிக்கொண்டு வர முயற்சித்துள்ளார். தற்போது, ‘மேன்’ படத்தின் இறுதிக்கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு விறுவிறுப்பாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan has made us all proud. His recent interview with Sam Fragoso of Talk Easy on the RRR Journey, his upbringing in Hyderabad, the Oscar Nomination depicts again his humility, his astute comments and the panache with which he handles himself. Representing India on a global scale and speaking to such acclaimed outlets in the USA, Ram has been the cynosure of all eyes. Fresh from his Babymoon break, he spoke to Sam about several topics.

On his upbringing, Ram opens up and says that, “Growing up, all my dad’s awards and the cinema magazines would stay in the office below our house and by mistake if I was in the office to take some stationery and would enter our house with any of his pictures, no magazines or pictures of fan work was in our house. A famous Indian artist made a painting of his and even that did not enter out house, because he did not want the influence of his work coming into his residence. He thought it was very glamorous, tempinting as an industry and he wanted us to be as normal as possible, he did not want us to know that we had a superstar father and to take it for granted that it would all come easy for us. Whatever he did was right as till today, I am able to pay my EMIs and keep it going and I am doing well because of his upbringing and the way he was.”

On RRR he says that, “RRR is a platform where this journey is going to come. It’s a way of achieving what all the hardworking directors and people in the movie industry in India wanted to see for the last 85 years. The final goal is to be recognized on a world platform.”

On the historic Oscar Nomination, he says that, “All the people that I am talking about, even they don’t know what this will be doing for our country. You cannot comprehend the result of this day. It is emotional for all of us. It is emotional for my dad who is waiting there. Before taking my flight, he was so sentimental that I was coming here. In 154 films he has done and 42 years he has been working, he has been to the Oscars in the 80s and that too for an appearance, and that also he felt was a huge achievement. But today we have been nominated and in the list and now waiting. He told me the value for it as younger actors, we don’t know the value of this so early in our career but he knows the value and I truly believe, that we are praying for this for everyone in India too, not just actors but its like India winning an Olympic gold medal, I do not run but I only the feeling when my Indian sportsperson holds that medal, The Oscars is like an Olympic Gold medal equivalent for us.”
