The pre-release event of the film “Youth” was held grandly in the presence of the press and media, along with the film’s cast, crew, and several prominent personalities from the film industry.
Produced by Karuppaiah C. Ram under the banner Parvatha Entertainment, the film “Youth” is directed by Ken Karunas, who earlier appeared as an actor in the films Asuran and Viduthalai 2. The film revolves around school life and teenage experiences.
The film features Anishma, Meenakshi Dinesh, and Priyanshi Yadav as the female leads. Popular actors Devadarshini and Suraj Venjaramoodu play important roles in the film.
The music for the film is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar. The first single “Mutta Kalakki” received a great response from fans. The song “Paranthane Penne” was sung by Ken Karunas, while the third single “Aasa Pulla”, sung by G.V. Prakash, has also gone viral.
The film is set to release worldwide on March 19.

Actress Nalini said she had decided not to act in films again, but Karunas and his son Ken convinced her to act in “Youth.”
Initially she thought it was a small role, but the experience of working on the film was refreshing. The team treated her with great care during the shoot and helped enhance her performance.

“I have known Ken for a long time. At a time when he was going around narrating his story, I was also looking for a film to produce. When someone suggested a project to me, I decided that Ken’s story should be made first.

Every film has an identity. Just like how Yuvan Shankar Raja was an identity for ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, G.V. Prakash Kumar will be an important identity for ‘Youth’. The fact that he composed music without taking money shows his greatness.

இந்தப் படம் மார்ச் 19-ஆம் தேதி உலகமெங்கும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

நான் சினிமாவில் நடிக்கவே மாட்டேன் என்று முடிவு செய்திருந்தேன். ஆனால் கருணாஸ் சார் மற்றும் அவர்களின் மகன் கென் என்னை அழைத்து இந்த ‘யூத்’ படத்தில் நடிக்க வைத்தார். முதலில் ஒரு சிறிய வேஷம் தான் என்று நினைத்தேன். ஆனால் இந்த படத்தில் நடிக்கும்போது நான் மீண்டும் ஒரு புதிய அனுபவம் பெற்றேன். ஷூட்டிங்கில் அவர்கள் என்னை மிகவும் கவனமாக கையாண்டு, என் நடிப்பை மேலும் மெருகேற்றி வைத்தார். அதனால் மீண்டும் சினிமாவில் நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வம் எனக்கு வந்துவிட்டது.
இந்த ‘யூத்’ பட டீம் மிகவும் எனர்ஜியாக வேலை செய்கிறார்கள். கொஞ்சம் கூட ஓய்வு எடுக்காமல் தொடர்ந்து ஷூட்டிங் செய்வார்கள். அதுதான் கொஞ்சம் கஷ்டமாக இருந்தாலும், அவர்கள் அர்ப்பணிப்பு பார்க்கும்போது மகிழ்ச்சி தான். என் வாழ்க்கையில் நான் முதன்முறையாக டப்பிங் தியேட்டருக்கு போய் டப்பிங் பேசினேன். அதற்கும் இந்த படக்குழுவே காரணம். இந்த படத்தில் என்னை மீண்டும் அறிமுகப்படுத்திய கென்னுக்கும், கருணாஸ் அவர்களுக்கும், முழு யூத் டீமுக்கும் என் மனமார்ந்த நன்றி. கடவுள் உங்களுக்கு இன்னும் பெரிய வெற்றிகளை கொடுக்கட்டும்.

கென்னை எனக்கு நல்ல பழக்கம் அவர் கதை வைத்து சுற்றிக்கொண்டிருந்த போது நானும் படம் செய்ய சுற்றிக் கொண்டிருந்தேன். ஒரு தயாரிப்பில் என்னை செய்ய சொன்னபோது நான் கென் கதையை முதலில் செய்யலாம் என முடிவு செய்து கதை கேட்டேன் கதை எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தது. பின் அந்த தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனம் வாங்கியது. ஆனால் இந்தப்படத்தை விட மனமில்லை என்ன ஆனாலும் ஓகே என நானே இப்படத்தை ஆரம்பித்தேன். கென் அற்புதமாக இப்படத்தை உருவாக்கி தந்தார். படம் விற்பனையும் ஆகிவிட்டது. படம் மிக நன்றாக வந்துள்ளது. இந்த பயணத்தில் துணை நின்ற அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி. என் குடும்பத்தாருக்கு நன்றி.

இந்த படத்தில் நடித்த தேவதர்ஷினி, நளினி, சுராஜ் மற்றும் மூன்று ஹீரோயின்களான பிரியாஞ்சி, மீனாட்சி, அனிஷ்மா எல்லோரும் மிகச்சிறப்பாக நடித்துள்ளனர். ‘யூத்’ படம் கண்டிப்பாக ஒரு நல்ல யூத் என்டர்டெயினராக இருக்கும். இந்த படக்குழுவுக்கு என் வாழ்த்துகள். படம் பெரிய வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும்” நன்றி.

அசுரன் படத்தில் முதலில் கென்னைப் பார்த்தபோது எனக்கு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. அவரை வேண்டாம் என்று தான் சொன்னேன். ஆனால் முதல் ஷாட்டிலேயே அவர் மிகுந்த நம்பிக்கையுடன் நடித்ததை பார்த்து நான் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டேன். அவரை கண்டுபிடித்த பெருமை முழுவதும் வெற்றிமாறனுக்கே சேரும்.
இந்த வயதிலேயே இவ்வளவு தைரியமாக படம் எடுக்க முடிவு செய்தது பெரிய விஷயம். அவர் படமெடுக்கிறேன் என்று சொன்ன போது, நான் இப்போது வேண்டாமே என்றேன் ஆனா அதை
தவறென்று நிரூபித்திருக்கிறார்.
“முன்னாடி நாங்கள் சினிமாவுக்கு வந்த போது, சீனியர்களை பார்த்து கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று சொல்லுவார்கள். ஆனால் இப்போது காலம் மாறிவிட்டது. இன்றைய இளம் தலைமுறை 20–25 வயதிலேயே மிக வேகமாக முன்னேறுகிறார்கள். இப்போது நாங்கள்தான் அவர்களிடம் இருந்து கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். கென் இந்த வயதில் இவ்வளவு பெரிய பொறுப்புடன் ஒரு படத்தை இயக்குவது சாதாரண விஷயம் இல்லை. அவருடைய உழைப்பும் நம்பிக்கையும் பாராட்டத்தக்கது. இந்த வயதில் பலர் வேறு விஷயங்களில் கவனம் செலுத்துவார்கள். ஆனால் கேன் தனது கவனத்தை முழுவதும் தனது கனவு மற்றும் குடும்பத்தின் மீது வைத்திருக்கிறார். அதற்காக அவருக்கு வாழ்த்துகள். யூத் படம் பெரிய வெற்றி பெற்று, கேனுக்கும் அவரை நம்பி வந்த முழு படக்குழுவுக்கும் ஒரு பெரிய ஆசீர்வாதமாக அமைய வேண்டும் வாழ்த்துக்கள்.
