Following the auspicious launch of the project in October by Legendary Director Kasthuri Raja, the film’s shoot has been progressing in full swing across vibrant locations in and around Chennai. The team has wrapped major portions of the first schedule and is gearing up for the next leg with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

A Promising Young Team Creating Magic

The film stars Pavish, who made an impressive mark with his performance in Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), in the lead role. Pavish’s natural screen presence and charm make him an apt fit for this youthful romantic story.

The female lead, Naga Durga, a popular YouTube personality from the Telugu industry, makes her much-anticipated Tamil big-screen debut with this film. Her lively performance and on-screen chemistry with Pavish are expected to be major highlights of Love Oh Love.

Despite numerous films set against the backdrop of the Kongu region, an integral cultural and geographical part of Tamil Nadu, ‘Ondimuniyum Nallapaadanum’ emerges as a cinematic attempt to authentically depict the unexplored lives and landscapes of this region.

Produced by K. Karuppusamy under the banner Thirumalai Production and directed by Sugavanam, the film that offers a raw and unfiltered lens into the soil, spirit, and struggles of the Kongu land will release in theatres on November 28.

The film portrays the people and soil of the Kongu region in a pure, unadulterated manner. It delves into the customs, minor deity worship traditions, beliefs, and the current state of the land in the lives of the Kongu region’s people. Writers and cinema personalities who have watched the film so far have praised it, saying it truly brings out the feeling of living in a village.

With fresh ideas, new actors, a debut director, and a new producer coming together, ‘Ondimuniyum Nallapaadanum’ is built on an excellent storyline that reflects contemporary reality. It intricately captures themes such as power struggles, exploitation of labour, and battles for land rights.

The film stars ‘Parotta’ Murugesan as Nallapaadan, alongside Karthikeyan, Murugan, Vijayan, Senapathi, Chithra, Koushika, and Tamiliniyan Vikatan in key roles. Cinematography is handled by Vimal, while music is composed by ‘Moodar Koodam’ Natarajan Sankaran (NTR). Art direction is by J.K. Antony, stunt choreography by Mass Mohan, and editing by Sathish Kurosawa. The film is co-produced by Amaravathy. 

Speaking about the project, director Sukavanam shared: “In the Kongu dialect, ‘Nallapaadan’ is a term used to describe a hardworking labourer, someone who toils deeply in the soil. This film tells the story of landless labourers—people who worship a folk deity called Ondimuni as their family god. The film delves into their spiritual beliefs, the exploitation they endure under oppressive systems, their way of life, and the struggles of Nallapaadan. It aims to transport viewers into the heart of a rural village. This is art for the people—and I believe it will resonate deeply with them.”

With its authentic storytelling and culturally rich narrative, ‘Ondimuniyum Nallapaadanum’ bankrolled by K. Karuppusamy of Thirumalai Production and directed by Sugavanam is slated for theatrical release on November 28.

LUMIERES STUDIOS நிறுவனம் சார்பில், ஜூட் மீனே, ஜனார்த்திக் சின்னராசா, ரமணா பாலா தயாரிப்பில், அறிமுக இயக்குநர் கார்த்திக் பழனியப்பன் இயக்கத்தில், முதல் முறையாக நடிகர் மொட்டை ராஜேந்திரன் நாயகனாக நடிக்க, 1980 களின் கிராமப்புற பின்னணியில், கலக்கலான காமெடி திரைப்படமாக உருவாகியுள்ள திரைப்படம் “ராபின்ஹீட்”.

தமிழ் திரையுலகின் முன்னணி இயக்குநர் H வினோத் இப்பட டிரெய்லரை வெளியிட்டு, படக்குழுவை பாராட்டியுள்ளார்.

படத்தின் டிரெய்லரைப் பார்த்த இயக்குநர் H.வினோத் , படத்தின் பின்னணி, விஷுவல்கள் பிரம்மாதமாக உள்ளது. காமெடி அருமையாக உள்ளது. இசை படத்திற்கு பொருத்தமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. டிரெய்லர் படம் பார்க்கும் ஆவலைத் தூண்டுகிறது. படக்குழுவினருக்கு எனது வாழ்த்துக்கள் எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

1980 களில், கிராமத்தில் ஒரு லாட்டரி சீட்டில் பெரிய பரிசு விழ, அந்த பரிசுக்காக இருவருக்கு இடையே நிகழும் போட்டியும், பிரச்சனைகளும் தான் இப்படத்தின் மையம்.

நாம் மறந்து போன லாட்டரி சீட்டு காலத்தை, கிராமப்புற பின்னணியில் மீட்டெடுத்து , கலகலப்பான திரைக்கதையுடன் அனைவரும் ரசிக்கும் கமர்ஷியல் எண்டர்டெயினராக இப்படத்தை இயக்கியுள்ளார் அறிமுக இயக்குநர் கார்த்திக் பழனியப்பன்.

இன்று வெளியாகியிருக்கும் டிரெய்லர், 1980 களின் காலகட்டத்தை திரையில் பார்க்கும் குதூகலத்தை தருவதோடு, வயிறு வலிக்க சிரிக்க வைக்கும், ஒரு கலக்கலான எண்டர்டெயினராக இப்படம் இருக்கும் என்பதை, உறுதி செய்கிறது.

இப்படத்தில் நடிகர் மொட்டை ராஜேந்திரன் முதன்முறையாக நாயகனாக களமிறங்கியுள்ளார். எதிர் பாத்திரத்தில் மறைந்த RNR மனோகர் நடித்துள்ளார். இவர்களுடன் KPY சதீஷ், அம்மு அபிராமி, சங்கிலி முருகன், முல்லை மற்றும் பலர் இணைந்து நடித்துள்ளனர்.

இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு அருப்புகோட்டை, காரியாபட்டி மற்றும் அதனைச் சுற்றியுள்ள கிராமங்களில் நடத்தி முடிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்த நிலையில் தற்போது இறுதிக்கட்ட பணிகள் பரபரப்பாக நடந்து வருகிறது.

விரைவில் திரையரங்கு வெளியீடு குறித்த அறிவிப்புகள் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக வெளியாகும்.
