Viacom18’s Tamil Entertainment Channel, Colors Tamil to telecast super hit Tamil dubbed Malayalam movies from Monday to Thursday every night at 9:30 PM
Announcing the plan, the channel said that the Onam lineup begins with ‘Va Va Nilave’ on Monday, ‘Oru Adaar Love’ on Tuesday, Dulquer Salmaan starrer Ustad Hotel and Oru Yamanin Kadhal Kadhai on Wednesday & Thursday respectively.
‘Va Va Nilave’ (Ohm Shanthi Oshaana) is a Tamil Dubbed Malayalam-language coming-of-age romantic comedy film co-written and directed by Jude Anthany Joseph. Screenplay by Midhun Manuel Thomas Jude Anthany Joseph Story by Midhun Manuel Thomas, produced by Alvin Antony Starring Nazriya Nazim Nivin Pauly Vineeth Srinivasan Aju Varghese and Narrated by Salim Kumar. Pooja Mathew, a spirited young girl, dreams about marrying only for love. Thus, she stops at nothing to impress Giri, who saved her once from a group of unruly men.
Oru Adaar Love is a 2019 Malayalam-language romantic comedy film dubbed in Tamil with the same name. The screenplay was written by Sarang Jayaprakash and Lijo Panadan from a story by Omar Lulu, and produced by Ousepachan Vaalakuzhy under his production company Ousepachan Movie House. The film features Priya Prakash Varrier and Noorin Shereef with Roshan Abdul Rahoof in the prominent roles. The story deals with high school romance. The movie gained worldwide attention due to a clip which went viral, from the song “Manikya Malaraya Poovi”. The story revolves around the journey of Higher secondary school kids from the time they first meet in class 11 until their passing out in class 12. Roshan woos Priya with the help of Gadha and his other friends. One evening Roshan and his friends get drunk and a friend of Roshan accidentally sends blue film videos from Roshan’s phone to the school’s WhatsApp group. This causes a rift between Roshan and Priya. Roshan and Gadha then pretend to be in love to make Priya jealous but they end up having feelings for each other. Priya approaches Roshan and says that she has forgiven him and they can start to be in a relationship again. But Roshan is unable to forget Gadha, which comes to be known by Priya. Heartbroken, she tells Roshan that Gadha can be a perfect partner for him, not Priya and they end their relationship. On graduation day, Roshan decides to propose Gadha on top of the mountain. Ustad Hotel is a 2012 Indian Malayalam-language drama film dubbed in Tamil in the same name directed by Anwar Rasheed, written by Anjali Menon and produced by Listin Stephen. The film stars Thilakan, Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen with Siddique, Mamukkoya, and Lena in supporting roles, along with Asif Ali and Jishnu in cameo roles. The film features music composed by Gopi Sundar, cinematography handled by Loganathan Srinivasan and editing by Praveen Prabhakar respectively. The story is about a young man named Faizal, known as Faizi (Dulquer), who studies in Switzerland as a chef against the wishes of his father (Siddique). When this matter comes to light, his father snatches away his passport to prevent him from taking up his new job in the UK. As the relation between father and son deteriorates, Faizi is forced to work as a cook in a restaurant in Kozhikode or Calicut, run by his grandfather Karim (Thilakan) until he can plan something alternate. Ustad Hotel is considered one of the best films made during the New-Gen cinema movement in Malayalam. It won three National Film Awards, for Best Popular Film, Menon won the award for Best Dialogues and Thilakan got a Special Mention (posthumously). Oru Yamanin Kadhal Kadhai is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language comedy-drama film dubbed in Tamil, directed by B. C. Noufal and written by Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. It stars Dulquer Salmaan, Nikhila Vimal, Soubin Shahir, Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Salim Kumar in the lead roles. Movie takes us into the world of a spirited youngster named Lallu and his colorful gang of friends. Set in Kadamakkudy, the film revolves around Lallu, a privileged daily wage painter and his colorful gang of friends. Although he comes from an aristocratic family and is the son of Kombanaayil John, a respected criminal lawyer in the area, he prefers the company of his under-privileged friends Panchikuttan, Vicky Peedika, and Teny Sebastian. Lallu, although uneducated, has a lot of charm.
