Masala Pix நிறுவனம் சார்பில் இயக்குநர், தயாரிப்பாளர் கண்ணண் தயாரித்து, இயக்க, நடிகை ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி முதன்மை பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கும், “காந்தாரி” திரைப்படம் இறுதிக்கட்டத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது. வரும் ஏப்ரல் மாதம் கோடை விடுமுறைக் கொண்டாட்டமாக இப்படம் வெளிவரவுள்ளது .
தமிழ் திரையுலகில் குடும்பங்களோடு கொண்டாடும் ரசனை மிக்க படங்களை வழங்கி வருபவர் இயக்குநர் கண்ணன். குடும்பங்கள் கொண்டாடும் ஜெயம் கொண்டான், கண்டேன் காதலைப் படங்களுடன் இளைஞர்கள் கொண்டாடும் ‘சேட்டை, இவன் தந்திரன், பிஸ்கோத்’ முதலாக பல வெற்றிப்படங்களை தொடர்ந்து வழங்கி வருகிறார். கடந்த ஆண்டு R.கண்ணன் இயக்கத்தில் ஐஸ்வர்யா ராஜேஷ் நடிப்பில் வெளியான “தி கிரேட் இண்டியன் கிச்சன்” திரைப்படம், ரசிகர்களிடம் வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றதுடன் விமர்சகர்கள் மத்தியிலும் பெரும் பாராட்டுக்களைக் குவித்தது. இந்த வரிசையில் தற்போது நாயகி ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி முதன்மை பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்க, கமர்ஷியல் கலந்த ஹாரர் டிராமாவாக “காந்தாரி” திரைப்படத்தை உருவாக்கி வருகிறார்.
இந்து அறநிலையத்துறை அதிகாரியாக வேலை பார்க்கும் இளம்பெண், பல காலத்திற்கு முன் ஒரு மன்னன் கட்டிய கந்தர்வக்கோட்டையை ஆராயச் செல்கிறார். பொக்கிசங்களைத் தேடிச் செல்லும் அவருக்கு, அங்கே பல ஆச்சரியங்கள் காத்திருக்கிறது. பல திருப்பங்களுடன் பரபரப்பான திரைக்கதையில், இப்படம் ரசிகர்களுக்குப் புத்தம் புது அனுபவமாகவும் இருக்கும்.
நடிகை ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி இப்படத்தில் முதன்முறையாக இந்து அறநிலையத்துறை அதிகாரி, நரிக்குறவப் பெண் என இரட்டை வேடத்தில், நடிக்கிறார். நரிக்குறவப்பெண்ணாக நடிப்பதற்காக சில பயிற்சி எடுத்துக்கொண்டுள்ளார். அவரது திரைப் பயணத்தில் இப்படம் அவரது நடிப்பிற்குப் பெயர் சொல்லும் படமாக இருக்கும்.
இப்படத்திற்காகச் சென்னை கிழக்குக் கடற்கரைச் சாலையில் 60 லட்சம் ரூபாயில், ஒரு பிரம்மாண்டமான மலைக் குகை அமைத்து, 1943 ல் நடக்கும் ப்ளாஷ்பேக் காட்சிகளைப் படமாக்கியுள்ளது படக்குழு. இப்படத்தின் ஒளிப்பதிவும், இசையும் மிக சிறப்பாக அமைந்துள்ளது.
இப்படத்தில் ஹன்சிகா மோத்வானி முதன்மைப்பாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்க, மெட்ரோ ஷிரிஷ்,மயில்சாமி, தலைவாசல் விஜய், ஆடுகளம் நரேன், ஸட்ண்ட் சில்வா, வினோதினி, பவன், பிரிகிடா சகா, வடிவேல் முருகன், கலைராணி ஆகியோர் முக்கியப்பாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.
இயக்குநர் கண்ணன் Masala Pix நிறுவனம் சார்பில் இப்படத்தினை தயாரித்து, இயக்கியுள்ளார். இப்படத்தின் கதையைத் தொல்காப்பியன் எழுதியுள்ளார், திரைக்கதையை தனஞ்செயன் எழுதியுள்ளார். வசனங்களை ஸ்ரீனி எழுதியுள்ளார். ஒளிப்பதிவை பாலசுப்பிரணியம் செய்கிறார். படத்திற்கு LV.முத்து கணேஷ் இசையமைத்துள்ளார், எடிட்டிங் பணிகளை ஜிஜிந்த்ரா கவனிக்கிறார். சண்டைக்காட்சிகளை ஸட்ண்ட் சில்வா வடிவமைத்துள்ளார். தயாரிப்பு மேற்பார்வை பணிகளை சிவசங்கரன் செய்துள்ளார். மக்கள் தொடர்பு பணிகளை ஜான்சன் செய்கிறார்.
