Actor Krishna starrer “Production No.1” shooting started with a ritual ceremony today May 3rd
Actor Krishna’s distinctive quality of choosing unique roles and stories has made him the bankable performer in the industry. From playing the convincing protagonist characters to supporting characters, he has proved his ability to deliver flawless performances, thereby gaining the appreciation from audiences. The actor is all set to unleash his potential in lead role with his new project. The film tentatively titled “Production No.1’ marks the maiden production venture of EVEG Entertainment Nanjundappa Reddy & Brothers. The film is directed by debutant Durai. Saravanan, who earlier worked as assistant director to filmmaker A. Venkatesh in 5 films.
The film’s shooting started today (May 3, 2024) in Chennai with a ritual pooja ceremony.
The producers are already famous for their successful business venture in Hosur, and are embarking on their journey as films producers with this film out of passion for cinema. “We have business operations in Hosur and are stepping into film production with a sheer vision to create good content-driven entertainers. We are glad to have an entertaining project as our first production. The film is a horror-comedy fantasy that will significantly engross audiences across all age groups,” say producers of EVEG Entertainment.
Malayalam actress Adhiya Prasad of ‘Nizhal’ fame is playing the female lead role. The others in the star cast include Maran, Imman Annachi, Aaditya Kathir, Chaams, director A Venkatesh and many others. Debut actor Santhosh is playing the villain role in this movie, which is yet-to-be-titled.
S.R. Sathish Kumar (Peranmai, Megamann fame) is handling cinematography. Vijay Velukutty (Valimai, Thunivu, Mark Antony fame) is overseeing editing works, and Srikanth Deva is composing music for this film.
The film’s shooting commenced today (May 3rd, 2024) shooting taking place in and around exotic locales of Chennai.

தனது நடிப்பு திறமைக்கு தீனி போடும் வகையிலான தனித்துவமான கதைகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து நடித்து வருகிறார் நடிகர் கிருஷ்ணா. அந்த வகையில் ஈவீஈஜி எண்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட், நஞ்சுண்டப்பா ரெட்டி & பிரதர்ஸ் வழங்கும் புதிய படம் ஒன்றில் நடிக்க ஒப்பந்தமாகியுள்ளார். இந்த படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு இன்று காலை பூஜையுடன் துவங்கியுள்ளது.
படத்திற்கு தற்காலிகமாக ‘புரொடக்ஷன் நம்பர் 1’ எனத் தலைப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. படப்பிடிப்பு சென்னை மற்றும் அதன் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடக்க உள்ளது. இந்த திரைப்படம் காமெடி, ஃபேண்டஸி மற்றும் திகில் ஜானரில் உருவாக இருக்கிறது. இயக்குநர் ஏ. வெங்கடேஷிடம் ஐந்து படங்களில் உதவி இயக்குநராக பணிபுரிந்துள்ள துரை. சரவணன் இந்தப் படத்தை இயக்குகிறார்.
படம் குறித்து தயாரிப்பாளர் நஞ்சுண்டப்பா ரெட்டி கூறுகையில், “ஓசூரில் பிசினஸ் செய்து வரும் நாங்கள் முதல்முறையாக தமிழ் சினிமாவில் ஈவீஈஜி எண்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட் என்ற கம்பெனி தொடங்கி தொடர்ந்து படங்கள் தயாரிக்க உள்ளோம். கிருஷ்ணா கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்க, கதாநாயகியாக ஆதியா பிரசாத் நடிக்கிறார். இவர் ‘நிழல்’ உள்ளிட்ட சில மலையாள படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார். புதுமுக நடிகராக சந்தோஷ் இத்திரைப்படத்தில் வில்லனாக அறிமுகமாகிறார். இவர்களோடு மாறன், இமான் அண்ணாச்சி, ஆதித்யா கதிர், சாம்ஸ், இயக்குநர் ஏ. வெங்கடேஷ் மற்றும் பலர் இத்திரைப்படத்தில் நடிக்க உள்ளனர். உங்களுடைய முழு ஆதரவு படத்திற்கு தர வேண்டும்” என்றார்.
