‘The Greatest of All Time’ is set to have a grand release in theatres worldwide on September 5, 2024
Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh of AGS Entertainment, South Indian cinema’s leading production house, have teamed up with Thalapathy Vijay for their 25th venture. Titled ‘The Greatest of All Time’, the film is made on a grand scale and is directed by Venkat Prabhu with musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The team has completed the shooting and dubbing, and the final phase works of post-production are in full swing. ‘The Greatest of All Time’ has generated great expectations among fans and will release in theatres worldwide on September 5, 2024.
Thalapathy Vijay has teamed up with AGS Entertainment for the second time and with director Venkat Prabhu for the first time. It also marks the second collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Thalapathy Vijay and the star cast enthusiastically participated in the shoot which took place across the globe – Russia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Tunisia and in different parts of India- Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Puducherry and Kerala.
The star studded cast has Prashanth, Prabhudeva, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal Amir, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, VTV Ganesh, Yugendran Vasudevan, Arvind Akash, Ajay Raj, Parvathi Nair, Abyukta Manikandan (debut) and other prominent actors. Veteran actor Mohan is playing a key role in the film.
The first single ‘Whistle Podu’ and the second single ‘Chinna Chinna Kangal’ were released and received great responses from the fans. The third song ‘Spark’ was released last Saturday and is already winning likes and hearts on various platforms. The songs are appreciated by Vijay fans and music lovers unanimously. Interestingly, Thalapathy Vijay has sung the first two songs of ‘The Greatest of All Time’.
Made on a lavish budget, Thalapathy Vijay has played two completely different roles in the film. To add value to the dual role, he travelled to the United States, to accurately get his body composition, appearance, movements and other features scanned through highly advanced technology at Lola VFX. It is noteworthy that Lola VFX, which has done the VFX for Hollywood biggies including ‘The Avengers’, has worked on the special scenes of ‘The Greatest of All Time’.
After the huge success of ‘Bigil’, AGS Entertainment has teamed up with Thalapathy Vijay for the second time, for his 68th film ‘The Greatest of All Time’.
‘The Greatest of All Time’ is the most grandiose of films produced by the company so far.
A compelling entertainer to be loved by all sections of the audience, ‘The Greatest of All Time’ is made to international standards, has a great star cast and features the work of top technicians working in the industry.
Siddhartha Nuni as the director of photography, Rajeevan as the production designer, Venkat Raajen as the editor and Dhilip Subbarayan has handled the action sequences. Preetisheel Singh D’Souza and team, who have worked on blockbusters like ‘Jawan’, ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Kalki’ have done the character designs and make-up in the film. The costumes are designed by Pallavi Singh and Vasuki Bhaskar. Lyrics are penned by Madhan Karky, Kabilan Vairamuthu, Vivek and Gangai Amaran. Raju Sundaram, Sathish and Sekar Vulli VJ have choreographed the dance sequences.
