This has become the unanimous response and mindset of film lovers, where they inquisitively look out for new and fresh ideas on big screens. When such films happen, they never hesitate to step out and add their golden-touch to make them successful hits. This year, Tamil Cinema has witnessed such unconventional stories getting tremendous reception, and a team of vibrant actors and technicians together have created one such film titled ‘Dopamine @ 2.22’. The film is directed by Dhirav, who is playing the lead role as well.
Shedding light on the film, Dhirav says, “Dopamine @ 2.22 revolves around seven people from different background, whose lives get conjoined by a murder that is yet to happen. It will primarily delve into the emotional turmoils and addictions in their lives. We completed shooting the entire project across the locales of Chennai, in a span of 18-20 days.,” says director Dhirav, who has played the lead role as well. He continues to add about the others in the star-cast, “Nikhila Shankar, who shot to fame for her performances in movies like Good Night and Lover is playing the female lead role. Vijay Duke, whose performances in Vijay TV series ‘Kanaa’ is playing an important role, and he is well known for his YouTube series ‘Shalini Store’. Sathya of ‘Kuttram Kadithal’ fame is playing another pivotal role in this movie. Vibitha, Sathish, and Samson are playing other pivotal roles.”
The director states that the technical crew has given its best to nourish and escalate the film’s intensity. In particular, he adds that there is a song in the climax that will reflect and remain relatable with everyone, which is crooned by Kapil Kabilan.
Alan Shoji is composing music for this film, which features cinematography by Prithivi Rajendiran, editing and lyrics by Dhirav. Anand Ramachandran and Kishore Kamaraj have worked on sound. Suresh Chandra and Abdul Nassar are handling PR works for this film.
The film is produced by Hashtag FDFS productions that had earlier produced Veppam Kulir Mazhai. This movie will resonate the people, lifestyle and issues of contemporary times that we encounter often.

எளிமையான, புது சிந்தைனைகளுடன் வரும் கதைகளை சிவப்பு கம்பளம் விரித்து வரவேற்க திரை ஆர்வலர்கள் ஆர்வமாக உள்ளனர். அதுபோன்ற கதைகள் வரும்போது நிச்சயம் அது பெரும் வெற்றி பெரும் என்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை. அதுபோன்ற பல கதைகள் இந்த ஆண்டு தமிழ் சினிமாவில் வெளியாகி மிகப்பெரிய வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றுள்ளது. திறமையான நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் ‘டோபமைன் @ 2.22′ படத்தில் இணைந்துள்ளனர். திரவ் இந்தப் படத்தை இயக்கி அதில் முதன்மை கதாபாத்திரத்திலும் நடித்துள்ளார்.
படம் பற்றி இயக்குநர், நடிகர் திரவ் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டதாவது, “’டோபமைன் @ 2.22’ படத்தின் கதை வெவ்வேறு பின்னணியைச் சேர்ந்த ஏழு பேரைச் சுற்றி வருகிறது. அவர்களின் வாழ்க்கை இன்னும் நடக்காத ஒரு கொலையால் இணைக்கப்படுகிறது. அந்த சமயத்தில் அவர்களின் உணர்வுகள் மற்றும் ஒரு விஷயத்திற்கு அடிமையாதல் பற்றிய கதையாக இது நகரும். 18-20 நாட்களில் முழுப் படப்பிடிப்பையும் சென்னையின் அனைத்துப் பகுதிகளிலும் படமாக்கி முடித்துள்ளோம். ‘குட்நைட்’, ‘லவ்வர்’ படங்கள் புகழ் நிகிலா ஷங்கர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்திருக்கிறார்” என்றார்.

ஆலன் ஷோஜி படத்திற்கு இசையமைக்க, பிருத்வி ராஜேந்திரனின் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். படத்தொகுப்பு மற்றும் பாடல் வரிகளை திரவ் கையாண்டுள்ளார். ஆனந்த் ராமச்சந்திரன் மற்றும் கிஷோர் காமராஜ் ஆகியோர் ஒலிப்பதிவிலும் பப்ளிசிட்டி டிசைனில் தினேஷூம் பணியாற்றியுள்ளனர். சுரேஷ் சந்திரா மற்றும் அப்துல் நாசர் இந்த படத்திற்கான மக்கள் தொடர்பு பணிகளை கவனிக்கின்றனர்.
