Sudden Surge of Screen Counts for Murmur in a single day!
Murmur has become a trendsetter in the Tamil film industry for being the first-ever ‘Found Footage Horror’ Film. The film’s first-look poster, followed by the teaser and trailer, garnered a tremendous response from film enthusiasts.
The film, which had generated high expectations, was recently released in theatres and won the hearts of audiences. It initially opened on 100 screens, but due to an overwhelmingly positive response, the number of screens was doubled to 200 on the second day. With Sunday witnessing house-packed shows and Monday box office collections increasing, it is anticipated that the number of screens will continue to increase in days to come.
The film is written and directed by Hemnath Narayanan and is produced by S.P.K. Pictures Prabhakaran and Stand Alone Pictures International. Jason Williams has handled cinematography and Kevin Fredrick has taken care of sound design. Dream Warrior Pictures has released the film all over Tamil Nadu.
