Actor Vishal Krishna met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru C. Joseph Vijay and extended a meaningful gesture by announcing the educational sponsorship of three underprivileged girl students in the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s name.

During the meeting, Vishal personally handed over a letter to Chief Minister Vijay, expressing his admiration for the latter’s inspiring journey and commitment towards serving the people of Tamil Nadu and as a mark of respect and goodwill, Vishal chose to honour the occasion through an initiative rooted in social impact and empowerment.

Reflecting his belief that meaningful gestures should create a lasting difference, Vishal shared that instead of presenting a ceremonial bouquet and shawl he preferred to support the education of deserving students with the same money believing that investing in a child’s future would leave behind a far more enduring impact with the heartfelt acceptance of the CM. Accordingly, the educational sponsorship has been extended to three deserving girl students from economically challenged backgrounds to support their higher studies.

The selected students, including first generation learners from single parent and daily wage earning family backgrounds, will receive educational assistance to pursue their academic aspirations and build a brighter future. The educational assistance has been extended to M. Lily Pushpam, who will be pursuing B.Sc. (Computer Science), M. Harini, pursuing BCA, and B. Dharshini, who has enrolled for B.Com (General). Coming from economically challenged backgrounds, including single parent and daily wage earning families, the three students represent determination and aspiration, with the sponsorship aimed at supporting their higher education and helping them pursue their academic dreams.

Vishal also conveyed his warm wishes to Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, appreciating his commitment to public welfare and expressing hope that meaningful initiatives centred around education would continue to inspire the younger generation.

The word “darling “ hasn’t changed which I used to call u for the last so many years since i knew u from Loyola college. It all started wen I got to know you as a budding star and then seeing u rise up the ladder as the SUPERSTAR facing all odds and criticism and brushing it away with ya silence and success and then moving on to become the Hon Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Today, the posting and designation has changed but the person u r hasn’t. And it was an absolute delight to meet you and felt the same warmth. From Kalaignar Ayya to Jayalalitha Amma to Stalin uncle to my very own Udhaya it was lovely to say darling to the CM of our state. The fanboy moment in me will always remain.

God bless u and thank u for accepting the gesture of not accepting the mandatory bouquet and shawl and instead I used the money to educate three deserving underprivileged girl children in TN on your behalf and in your name. They will be proud and will remember you for ever.
