The Telugu Film Chamber has released new guidelines regarding film productions in the wake of the revival of the movie buzz. It has been revealed that these guidelines will come into effect from September 10.
Film making…

  • Artists and technicians are not paid daily.
  • Producers decide the remuneration of actors based on the level of roles in a film. The remuneration includes the personal staff, local transport, local accommodation and special food expenses of the actors.
  • The producer does not have to pay even a single rupee more than the remuneration agreement entered into with an artiste.
  • The remuneration of the main technicians working for a film includes their personal staff expenses, local accommodation, local transport and special food expenses. The producer shall not pay anything extra except to the extent previously agreed upon.
  • Every agreement should clearly detail the remuneration. The Chamber will have to confirm the details

OTT…

  • The names of OTT and satellite partners will not be included in the movie titles and theatrical release promotions.
  • OTT should be given after 8 weeks of release of a movie.

Aspects of theatres/exhibitors..

  • Discussions are going on regarding VPF. The next meeting scheduled for 3rd September was postponed to 6th.
  • The same percentage as given in Telangana is also given to multiplexes in Andhra.
