Dear Friends and Cinema Lovers,

It’s a special opportunity and occasion to look back, cherish, celebrate and express my gratitude. 10 years ago, I started my journey with a team of newcomers, taking baby steps in cinema, and today, it surprises and excites me on the 10th anniversary of my debut film ‘Demonte Colony’ that lands me in a state of emotional bliss. After 10 years of beautiful journey in the industry, I realise sheer passion in doing what we love will keep the journey going with support and love.

My debut ‘Demonte Colony’ was a reflection of my Pre-Directorial phase as ‘Horror’ films enriched my excitement as an audience in the theaters. I always feel the classic horror films like The Exorcist, The Omen & The Conjuring Franchise will forever remain unforgettable memories for all cinema lovers. I am no exception as I was so much inclined to this world of rare creations, that propelled me to push my boundaries and create a world of ‘Demonte Colony’ that would do due justice to ‘Horror’ genre. If not for the unconditional support of Mohana Movies MK Tamilarasu sir, Arulnithi sir and Sri Thenandal Films Murali Ramasamy sir, ‘Demonte Colony’ would have never happened and I’m forever indebted to them for being my ray of hope.

What gives me immense joy is that Arulnithi sir keeps nourishing the ‘World of Demonte Colony’ with his consistent support. Besides, the love that I have received from industry friends, the press and media fraternity, and cinema lovers keeps adding more responsibility to deliver something special with each installment. With the colossal reception received for both the films in this DC Legacy, we as a team are giving our best to craft, create, materialise and deliver to the best of our abilities, an unique and a chilling theatrical experience with ‘Demonte Colony 3’.

என் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் கொண்டாடவும் நன்றி தெரிவிக்கவும் சரியான நேரம் இது. பத்து வருடங்களுக்கு முன்னால் சினிமாவில் கத்துக் குட்டியாக எனது பயணத்தை ஆரம்பித்தேன். இப்போது எனது முதல் படம் ‘டிமாண்டி காலனி’ பத்து வருடங்கள் நிறைவு செய்திருப்பது உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான தருணமாக உள்ளது. நாம் விரும்பியதை செய்யும் போது அதற்கான ஆதரவும் அன்பும் தொடர்ந்து கிடைக்கும் என்பதைப் புரிந்து கொண்டேன்.

என்னுடைய முதல் படமான ‘டிமான்டி காலனி’ நான் இயக்குநராகப் பணிபுரிவதற்கு முந்தைய கட்டத்தின் பிரதிபலிப்பாகும். ஏனெனில் ‘ஹாரர்’ படங்கள் திரையரங்குகளில் ஒரு பார்வையாளராக எனக்கு அதிக உற்சாகத்தைக் கொடுத்தது. ‘தி எக்ஸார்சிஸ்ட்’, ‘தி ஓமன்’ மற்றும் ‘தி கன்ஜூரிங்’ போன்ற கிளாசிக் ஹாரர் படங்கள் எல்லா சினிமா பிரியர்களுக்கும் என்றென்றும் மறக்க முடியாத நினைவுகளாக இருக்கும். இதுபோன்ற படங்களின் தாக்கமே தடைகளைக் கடந்து புதிய உலகத்தை உருவாக்க என்னைத் தூண்டியது. அதில்தான் ‘டிமாண்டி காலனி’ என்ற புதிய ஹாரர் வகை ஜானர் படத்தை உருவாக்கினேன். மோகனா மூவிஸ் எம்.கே. தமிழரசு சார், அருள்நிதி சார் மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ தேனாண்டாள் பிலிம்ஸ் முரளி ராமசாமி சார் ஆகியோரின் ஆதரவு இல்லையென்றால், ‘டிமான்டி காலனி’ உருவாகி இருக்காது. அவர்கள் என் மேல் வைத்த நம்பிக்கைக்கு என்றென்றும் கடமைப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.

There’s a new GT on the rise. As Gujarat Titans shine on the cricket field, Geethika Tiwari—one of the most promising new finds in South Indian cinema—is opening up about her cinematic journey, which saw her starring alongside Santhanam and working under the banner of actor-producer Arya. In a heartfelt reflection shared via her team, she shares her experience and growth throughout the project.

“Santhanam sir is truly the ‘Counter King’—his spontaneity and sense of humour are unmatched,” Geethika shares. She also revealed how the experience led her to adopt meditation to stay calm and focused during intense shooting schedules.

Geethika expressed her deep gratitude for Arya, describing him as a pillar of support throughout the project. “I would absolutely love to do a film with Arya sir in the future—it’s a collaboration I’m eagerly looking forward to.”

The role came to Geethika unexpectedly. Originally planned to travel to the UK for another film, a sudden delay in that project led to this opportunity.

A highlight of the film for Geethika was portraying a ghost, a first in her career. With a look that was both eerie and captivating, she brought a unique presence to the screen. “It was physically and mentally demanding, especially spending 12 to 16 hours a day in full costume,” she shared. “But the challenge was rewarding. I always give my 100%, and the dedication of the entire team made every day special.”

Geethika also made headlines for using the phrase “Nenjil Kudi Irukum” during her introduction speech. “I wanted to express something deeply emotional in Tamil, and that line resonated with me,” she says. “When I learned it was originally said by Vijay sir—someone I admire—it became even more meaningful. I used the phrase to show love and respect for Tamil cinema and its audience.”

Off-screen, Geethika is dedicated to honing her craft, regularly training in acting, dance, and action. “Cinema and theatre constantly inspire me. I believe in pushing myself to grow with every project.”

Looking ahead, she’s eager to collaborate with acclaimed directors like Mani Ratnam and S.S. Rajamouli. “I’m always excited to work with filmmakers who offer strong scripts and compelling characters,” she says. She’s excited to explore a range of roles and continue challenging herself.

தமிழ் சினிமாவின் புதிய நட்சத்திரம் கீதிகா திவாரி!

புதிய ’GT’ தற்போது உதயமாகி இருக்கிறது. குஜராத் டைட்டன்ஸ் (GT) கிரிக்கெட் களத்தில் பிரகாசிக்கும் அதே வேளையில், தென்னிந்திய சினிமாவின் புதிய நட்சத்திரமாக கீதிகா திவாரி (Geethika Tiwari) அறிமுகமாகி இருக்கிறார். நடிகர், தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆர்யாவின் தயாரிப்பில் நடிகர் சந்தானத்துடன் இணைந்து அவர் நடித்த ‘டிடி நெக்ஸ்ட் லெவல்’ படம் குறித்தும் தன்னுடைய சினிமா பயணம் குறித்தும் அவர் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறார்.

அவர் பேசியதாவது, “சந்தானம் உண்மையிலேயே ‘கவுண்ட்டர் கிங்’. அவருடைய நகைச்சுவை உணர்வு யாருடனும் ஒப்பிட முடியாது. பிஸி ஷெட்யூலிலும் அவருடைய நகைச்சுவை உணர்வு மெடிகேஷன் போல என் மனதை அமைதிப்படுத்த உதவியது. இந்தப் படத்தின் மிகப்பெரும் பலம் ஆர்யா சார்தான். அவருடன் வருங்காலத்தில் இன்னும் அதிக படங்களில் இணைந்து பணியாற்ற ஆர்வமாக உள்ளேன். இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரம் எனக்கு எதிர்பாராதவிதமாக வந்தது. இன்னொரு படத்திற்காக UK செல்ல திட்டமிட்டிருந்தேன். அப்போது அந்த படம் தாமதமானதால் இந்த வாய்ப்பை பயன்படுத்திக் கொண்டேன்” என்றார்.

தன்னுடைய கரியரிலேயே முதன் முறையாக கீதிகா பேயாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். படத்தில் முதல் பாதியில் அழகான கதாநாயகியாகவும் இரண்டாம் பாதியில் ரசிகர்களை பயமுறும் பேயாகவும் நடித்திருந்தார். இதுபற்றி பகிர்ந்து கொண்டபோது, “இது உடல் ரீதியாகவும் மன ரீதியாகவும் கடினமானதாக இருந்தது. குறிப்பாக ஒரு நாளில் 12 முதல் 16 மணிநேரம் வரை அதே உடையில் இருந்தேன். அந்த கஷ்டம் எல்லாம் ரசிகர்கள் பாராட்டுகளுக்கு முன்னால் மறைந்து போனது. நான் எப்போதும் 100% உழைப்பை கொடுப்பேன். அதுபோலதான் மொத்த படக்குழுவும் உழைத்தது”

தமிழில் கீதிகா பேசியபோது, ‘நெஞ்சில் குடியிருக்கும்’ என்ற சொற்றொடரை உபயோகித்தார். இதுபற்றி அவர் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டதாவது, “என்னுடைய உணர்வுகளை தமிழில் வெளிப்படுத்த நினைத்தபோது இந்த வாக்கியம் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்துப் போனது. இது விஜய் சார் சொன்னது என அறிந்தபோது அது இன்னும் அர்த்தமுள்ளதாக மாறியது. தமிழ் சினிமா மற்றும் ரசிகர்கள் மீது அன்பையும் மரியாதையையும் காட்ட இந்த சொற்றொடரைப் பயன்படுத்தினேன்”.

சினிமாவுக்காக நடிப்பு, நடனம் மற்றும் ஆக்‌ஷனில் இன்னும் அதிக பயிற்சிகள் எடுத்து வருகிறார். “சினிமா மற்றும் தியேட்டர் தொடர்ந்து என்னை இன்ஸ்பையர் செய்யக்கூடிய விஷயங்கள். ஒவ்வொரு புராஜெக்ட்டிலும் என்னை அடுத்த நிலைக்கு எடுத்து செல்ல வேண்டும் என நினைக்கிறேன்”.

மணிரத்னம் மற்றும் எஸ்.எஸ். ராஜமெளலி போன்ற இயக்குநர்களுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்ற ஆர்வமாக இருப்பதாகவும் கூறுகிறார் கீதிகா. “வலுவான கதைகள் மற்றும் கதாபாத்திரங்கள் கொடுக்கும் இயக்குநர்களுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றுவதே என் விருப்பம். சவாலான கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்க வேண்டும்”.

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் நடிகர்கள் அஜித் குமார், விஜய், ரஜினிகாந்த் மற்றும் தனுஷ் இவர்களின் நடிப்பும் திறைமையும் தனக்கு இன்ஸ்பையரான விஷயம் என்கிறார். “அவர்களுடைய ஸ்கிரீன் பிரசன்ஸ் மற்றும் படங்கள் மிகவும் பிடிக்கும். அவர்களுடன் பணிபுரிய வேண்டும் என்பது விருப்பம்” என்கிறார்.

After delivering powerful performances in acclaimed films like Peranmai, Paradesi, Kabali, and Solo, as well as in the recently released web series Aindham Vedham, actress Sai Dhanshika takes on the lead role in the upcoming film Yogi Da. The film also features Sayaji Shinde, Manobala, Kabir Duhan Singh, Esther, and others in important roles.

Goutham Krishna has written the story, screenplay, and dialogues for the film and is also directing it. Renowned music composer Deepak Dev, known for scoring music for over 50 Malayalam films including Lucifer and Tamil films like Sadhu Miranda, has composed the film’s background score. SKA Boopathi, who has previously worked on cinematography for films like Thavasi and Narasimha, has handled the camera work, while G. Sasikumar is in charge of editing. K. Ganesh Kumar, the action choreographer behind action sequences in films like Vivegam and Siruthai, plays a vital role in this film too.

In Yogi Da, Sai Dhanshika portrays a sincere police inspector who is frequently transferred due to her integrity. While on duty in one of her postings, a person is murdered within her station limits. The victim’s family attempts to pass it off as a suicide, but she exposes it as a murder and apprehends the culprit. However, she is pressured from various sources to release the accused. Her refusal to yield leads to her being transferred to an even more challenging location.

The film revolves around how Dhanshika’s character confronts numerous shocking events and hardships and whether she eventually triumphs.

Her role is one of conviction—“No matter how many people oppose it, truth remains the truth; and no matter how many support it, wrong is still wrong.”

Yogi Da is based on a true story. The trailer launch event took place today in Chennai, attended by special guests including actors Radha Ravi, Vishal, Directors’ Union President R.V. Udayakumar, Perarasu,Mithran R Jawahar, and Meera Kathiravan, along with the film’s cast and crew.

The event also turned into a platform for a wedding announcement, as Vishal and Sai Dhanshika revealed their decision to get married, prompting heartfelt congratulations from everyone present.

Director R.V. Udayakumar:
“The action sequences have come out well. Sai Dhanshika has delivered an outstanding performance as an honest police officer fighting against injustice. As this is the producer’s first film and he is a friend of mine, I extend my heartfelt wishes. All the technical artists have done a fantastic job.
