Synopsis:
A group of privileged tweenage kids decide to skip school for a ghost-hunting adventure near one of their grandmothers’ homes. What starts as a bid to prove their maturity turns into a sci-fi thriller when they encounter strange occurrences in a remote village, eventually meeting an astrophysicist (played by Radhakrishnan Parthiban) who reveals the presence of aliens.

Review:
“Teenz” blends the innocence of childhood with the intrigue of science fiction, a unique concept spearheaded by actor-director Radhakrishnan Parthiban. The narrative transitions from a light-hearted escapade to a more intense genre seamlessly, though it falters with prolonged sequences of the kids’ plight, testing viewers’ patience. The CGI work on the spaceship lacks detailing, impacting the visual appeal.

Radhakrishnan Parthiban shines in his role as the astrophysicist, injecting depth into the storyline as mysteries unfold. However, the portrayal of the kids as self-centered and irresponsible dampens emotional engagement, with Yogi Babu’s presence feeling underutilized. The humor, often relying on clichéd drunkard jokes, seems excessive.

The sci-fi elements are well-executed, yet the film could benefit from tighter editing and more dynamic camerawork to elevate its impact. Despite its innovative premise, “Teenz” struggles to resonate due to its uneven pacing and characterization.
