Tamil films have always enjoyed the greatest privilege of enthralling the Karnataka audiences, and the affinity has existed beyond the boundaries and linguistic factors for years. The regional audience have celebrated the essence of emotional elements in Tamil cinema, and so was the warm reception for RS Infotainment Elred Kumar’s ‘Viduthalai Part 1’, directed by Vetrimaaran. Significantly, AV Media, one of the leading production and distribution houses, has acquired the Karnataka Theatrical Rights of ‘Viduthalai Part 2’ starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead characters.

Post-Viduthalai Part 1 release, both the actors – Vijay Sethupathi and Soori have scaled incredible success with their recent outings like Maharaja and Garudan. Precisely, both these movies have fared well in Karnataka with good response. AV Media, which has already released Rajinikanth’s Jailer, Viduthalai Part 1, Sardar, Maharaja, Garudan, Kalki and Dhanush’s Raayan is confident that this film will be yet another profitable stroke.
Viduthalai Part 2 is now close on the heels of completing the shooting. Recently, the unveiling of first look has garnered phenomenal response, and the film has become one among the much-awaited biggies of this year.
RS Infotainment Producer Elred Kumar is planning to release the film before this yearend.
Actress Manju Warrier and Anurag Kashyap are the latest additions to the star-cast of Viduthalai Part 2, which already boasts of a stunning pack of performers like Bhavani Sri, Rajeev Menon, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Chetan, the ever reliable Kishore and many others.

தமிழ்த் திரைப்படங்கள் எப்போதுமே மொழி போன்ற தடைகளைக் கடந்து கன்னட பார்வையாளர்களை பல ஆண்டுகளாக கவர்ந்து வருகிறது. தமிழ் சினிமாவில் வரும் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான கதைக்களங்கள் பிறமொழி பார்வையாளர்களையும் கவர்ந்து வருகிறது என்பதில் சந்தேகம் இல்லை. அப்படியான ஒரு படமாக வெற்றிமாறன் இயக்கத்தில், ஆர்.எஸ்.இன்ஃபோடெயின்மென்ட் எல்ரெட் குமாரின் தயாரிப்பில் வெளியான ‘விடுதலை 1’ திரைப்படத்திற்கு அமோக வரவேற்பு கிடைத்தது. முன்னணி தயாரிப்பு மற்றும் விநியோக நிறுவனங்களில் ஒன்றான ஏவி மீடியா, விஜய்சேதுபதி மற்றும் சூரி முதன்மை கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ள ‘விடுதலை பார்ட் 2’ படத்தின் கர்நாடக திரையரங்கு உரிமையை வாங்கியுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

இந்த ஆண்டு அதிகம் எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் படங்களில் ஒன்றான ‘விடுதலை 2’ படப்பிடிப்பு தற்போது இறுதிக்கட்டத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது. சமீபத்தில், வெளியிடப்பட்ட ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் அற்புதமான வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.
ஆர்எஸ் இன்ஃபோடெயின்மென்ட் தயாரிப்பாளர் எல்ரெட் குமார் படத்தை இந்த ஆண்டு இறுதிக்குள் வெளியிட திட்டமிட்டுள்ளார்.
