The iconic actress Keerthy Suresh has taken on the role of co-owner for the Thiruvananthapuram team, which is set to compete in the KCL Kerala League matches in Kerala. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Kerala starting September.
Cricket enjoys immense popularity in India, paralleling the country’s vibrant film industry. In response to the enthusiasm surrounding the IPL matches, a special cricket event is scheduled in September, aimed at delighting fans in Kerala.
Similar to how prominent actors take on ownership roles in IPL franchises, Keerthy Suresh has assumed ownership of the Trivandrum Royals team in Kerala.
The KCL is dedicated to fostering the sport of cricket in Kerala and discovering promising young talent for India.
The schedule for 33 matches featuring 6 teams will be released shortly.
The Complete Actor Mohanlal serves as the ambassador for KCL Kerala cricket matches.
Six teams will be chosen from prominent cities in Kerala to take part in these tournaments. A total of 33 matches are planned to take place. All matches will be broadcast live on the Star Sports channel.
