Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, the trailblazing firebrand of Indian Cinema, who presented the unconventional genres with fresh approach has created a huge fan base around the country. From chilling the spines with the spooky horror tales to bringing the raw and realistic underground mafia culture on big screens, he has never missed hitting the bull’s eye. One such instance that glorifies his directorial craftsmanship is the fact that his magnum opus ‘BHOOT’ has been re-released for the Halloween occasion across many cities, and is garnering tremendous response. The filmmaker has encouraged many young talents to embark on their directorial journey in the industry, and his upcoming production ‘SAAREE’ is directed by Giri Krishna.
The makers are delighted to announce that the film will have its worldwide theatrical release on December 20, 2024.
The film highlight the scary obsession cased by social media platforms, which sometimes results in unexpected upheavals in personal and societal space. The basic theme of the film is ‘Too Much Love Can Be Scary’, featuring Aaradhya as the ‘Girl in Saaree’ and Satya Yadu as Scary Lover. Furthermore, the theme revolves around the realistic possibilities of girls in Instagram, who are easily prone to the vulnerable situation of being stalked, and ‘Saaree’ will be one such flick, which will have the emotional throttles laced with thriller moments.
Saaree is produced by Ram Gopal Varma & Ravi Varma of RGV/Aarvi Production, which will have its release simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam.
