Actor Rahman has participated and won prizes at Snooker Game which is held by Madras Race Club Every year.There are lot of Rules and Discipline to be followed during the game.Rahman has won third prize in singles game and has won first prize in doubles game.but he was not selected to participate in final game.when asked about the game,he shared that to participate in this game first we have to prepare our mindset.we should not distract,our concentration should not shift.due to my film dubbing works i was not able to prepare myself properly.next time i will participate and will try to win the competition.
மெட்ராஸ் ரேஸ் கிளப் வருடம் தோறும் நடத்தி வரும் ஸ்னூக்கர் விளையாட்டு போட்டியில் நடிகர் ரஹ்மான் கலந்து கொண்டு பரிசுகளை வென்றுள்ளார். சாதாரண விளையாட்டு போட்டியில் உள்ளது போல் அல்லாமல், இந்த விளையாட்டு போட்டியில் கலந்து கொள்ள உடை அணிவது முதல் டிசிப்ளின் என் ஏராளமான விதி முறைகள் உள்ளன. இதில் கலந்து கொண்டு சிங்கிள்ஸ் போட்டியில் மூன்றாவது இடத்தை பிடித்து பரிசு கோப்பையும் டபிள்ஸ் போட்டியில் முதல் பரிசு கோப்பையும் வென்றுள்ளார். ஆனால் இருதி போட்டியில் கலந்து கொள்ள தகுதி பெறவில்லை. இதை பற்றி அவர் கூறுகையில் ” இந்த விளையாட்டு போட்டியில் பங்கு பெற வேண்டுமென்றால் முதலில் மனதால் நம்மை தயார் படுத்த வேண்டும் . கவனம் ( concentration) சிதற கூடாது. ஆனால் படங்களின் டப்பிங் வேலைகள் மற்ற வேலைபழுக்கள் காரணமாக எனக்கு என்னை தயார் படுத்தவோ கவனமாக விளையாடவோ இயலவில்லை. அடுத்த முறை நிச்சயமாக மீண்டும் போட்டிகளில் கலந்து கொண்டு முதலிடத்தை பெற முயற்சிப்பேன்.”
