It’s time to delve into the legacy of the ultimate king of the jungle, Mufasa: The Lion King, now brought to life in Tamil with some of the most popular voices of the Tamil industry! Following the blockbuster success of 2019’s live-action ‘The Lion King’, the visually stunning live-action Mufasa: The Lion King is all set to release on 20th December 2024 and a special treat is in store for fans as the Tamil dubbed version presents Arjun Das as Mufasa, Ashok Selvan as Taka, the beloved duo of Robo Shankar and Singam Puli who have reunited as Pumbaa and Timon respectively, VTV Ganesh who will be voicing the younger version of Rafiki and industry veteran M. கடந்த 2019 இன் லைவ்-ஆக்ஷன் படமான ‘தி லயன் கிங்’ பிளாக்பஸ்டர் வெற்றியைத் தொடர்ந்து, பிரமிக்க வைக்கும் ‘முஃபாசா: தி லயன் கிங்’ திரைப்படம் டிசம்பர் 20, 2024 அன்று வெளியாகிறது. இதன் தமிழ் பதிப்பில் கதாபாத்திரங்களுக்கு பல முன்னணி நடிகர்கள் குரல் கொடுத்துள்ளனர். முஃபாசாவாக அர்ஜுன் தாஸ், டாக்காவாக அசோக் செல்வன், நடிகர்கள் ரோபோ சங்கர் மற்றும் சிங்கம் புலி முறையே பும்பா மற்றும் டைமனுக்கு குரல் கொடுத்துள்ளனர். மேலும், இளைய ரஃபிக்கின் குரலாக விடிவி கணேஷ் மற்றும் கிரோஸிற்கு நடிகர் நாசரும் குரல் கொடுத்துள்ளனர்.

இந்த அனுபவம் குறித்து சிங்கம் புலி பகிர்ந்து கொண்டதாவது, “இந்தப் படத்தில் நான் இருப்பேன் என்று நினைத்துக்கூட பார்க்கவில்லை. இது முற்றிலும் தற்செயலானது. 2019 இல் எனக்கு முதலில் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்த போது, நான் தயங்கினேன். ஆனால் என் குழந்தைகளின் உரையாடலைக் கேட்டவுடன் நான் அந்த வாய்ப்பைப் பயன்படுத்திக் கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்தேன். இதுபோன்ற வாய்ப்புகள் அரிதானவை என்பதை அவர்கள் எனக்கு நினைவூட்டினர்” என்றார்.

டிமோனுக்கு குரல் கொடுப்பது அவருக்கு மகத்தான அங்கீகாரத்தை அளித்தது மட்டுமல்லாமல், உலகளாவிய பார்வையாளர்களுடன் அவர் பரிச்சியம் ஏற்படுத்திக் கொள்வதற்கும் இது ஒரு நல்ல வாய்ப்பு. “டிமோனின் கதாபாத்திரம் எப்போதும் நேர்மறையாக இருக்கும் மற்றும் கடின உழைப்பு வெற்றிக்கு முக்கியமானது என்ற நம்பிக்கையை அது கொடுக்கும். நான் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களுக்குச் செல்லும் போதெல்லாம், குழந்தைகள் அடிக்கடி என்னிடம் டிமோனின் வரிகளை பேசிக் காட்டும்படி கேட்பார்கள். அது எனக்கு பெருமையான தருணம்” என்றார்.
