Jayasathisan Nageswaran has written the story. Directed by Sai Prabha Meena. Jai Akash is playing the lead role.

R K Anbuselvan spoke as follows
A lot can be said about Yokkiyan film. The film was shot before the Corona period. Directed by Sai Prabha Meena. Jai Akash had planned to release this film on his OTT site.
One day the director Sai Prabha called me and said that there is a Jai Akash film and I want to release it in theatres. The film was titled “No one is good”. I said that there are many good people and they should not be given titles like that. Later the name of the film was changed to Yokkiyan. Then the director came to my office and said that the film can be released. He told this to Jai Akash. Then Jai Akash came to my office. We discussed and decided everything in a very short time following which he became a member of our Association too!
Theaters show interest to release those films which have big stars!
Such a trend won’t last long. Small budget films are the ones that keep cinema alive. So they need to release small budget films too.
Film director Liyakat Ali Khan said-
I have done 3 films for Mammootty. He told me that I am not the hero of this film, the script is!
Tamil cinema is recently proving that it is true. Small films become big hits. Por Thozhil, Goodnight, Ayodhya have become big hits. The openings of big films normally gather big crowds. Good films bring people to the next show! Yokkiyan should be interpreted as such a film. Congratulations to director Sai Prabha Meena for the hard work. Also, advance congratulations to Jai Akash to become a big actor like Vikram.
Director Senthil Nathan said:
The film’ s director spoke a little angrily. All first-time directors have gone through hardships and pains. Our victory will change everything. The success of this film will definitely change you. Yokkiyan movie trailer was good. The music was good. Jai Akash’s performance was very good. He will surely become a big hero!
“Minister Returns” actress Akshaya said:
Minister Returns was my first film. I am from Coimbatore. I wanted to act. But I don’t know how to get into cinema, I don’t know how to act. I got Jai Akash’s number through someone and met him and he gave me an opportunity to act as a heroine in that film.
He has made me the heroine of another film as well. He is my Guru. He was the one who gave me the chance to act in a film and taught me how to act.
The heroine of the film should come for the film promotion. But did not come. I am not acting in Yokkiyan but as I was invited ,I have come. I have acted in TV serials. Attending film festivals has taught me a lot of things I didn’t know.
Actor Jai Akash said:
If I want to talk about Yokkiyan, I needed a writer to tell the story that I had in mind. It was only as a writer that director Sai Prabha Meena joined me. But he did not know much about cinema. He joined me as an assistant director when I directed Maamaram.He also worked in the film Minister Returns. I shared a lot about films and filmmaking.
He said that, at some point, he should direct the film in which I would play the hero! Well, I told him to get a proper story ready but he said that he doesn’t know how to tell it either. Then I wrote the story of Yokkiyan myself. Who is a Yokkiyan? Only by showing who is not a Yokkiyan , will we be able to show who is a Yokkiyan. This in a nutshell is the story!
There are totally 4 stories in this film and this format hasn’t appeared in Tamil cinema yet.
The film’ s script is what made me sleepless for 30 nights. I gave this story to Sai Prabha Meena and asked to direct .
Currently they are refusing to give theaters to small films. So I was planning to release it in my OTT but the director felt that this film should be released in theatres, so it is being released in theatres. I am acting in the TV serial Neethane En Pon Vasantham which has got a lot of fans.
I hope they will come to the theater to watch my film.

Congratulations to Jai Akash-starrer Yokkiyan and his team and wish them success. As far as cinema is concerned, Kollywood has a lot of issues but it is much better in other States!

ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் நடிக்கும் யோக்கியன் ஆடியோ, டிரெய்லர் வெளியீட்டு விழா
மூன் ஸ்டார் பிக்சர்ஸ் சார்பில் வி.மாதேஷ் தயாரிக்கும் படம் யோக்கியன்.
ஜெயசதீசன் நாகேஸ்வரன் கதை எழுதி உள்ளார். சாய் பிரபா மீனா இயக்கி யுள்ளார். ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் ஹீரோவாக நடித்துள் ளார். இவருடன் தேவிகிருபா, சாம்ஸ், ஆர்த்தி சுரேஷ், கவிதா,குஷி உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஆர்.கே.அன்புசெல்வன் பேசியதாவது
யோக்கியன் படம் பற்றி நிறைய பேசலாம். இப்படம் கொரோனா காலகட்டத்துக்கு முன் படமாக்கப்பட்டது. சாய் பிரபா மீனா இயக்கி உள்ளார். இந்த படத்தை ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் தனது ஒ டி டி தளத்தில் வெளியிட எண்ணியிருந்தார்.
ஒருநாள் இயக்குனர் சாய் பிரபா எனக்கு போன் செய்து ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் படமொன்று இருக்கிறது, தியேட்டரில் ரிலீஸ் செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றார். படத்துக்கு “யாருமே நல்லவன் இல்லை” என்று டைட்டில் வைத்திருந்தார். நல்வர்கள் நிறைய பேர் இருக்கிறார்கள் அப்படி யெல்லாம் டைட்டில் வைக்கக்கூடாது என்று சொன்னேன். பிறகு யோக்கியன் என்று பட பெயர் மாற்றப்பட்டது. பின்னர் இயக்குனர் என் ஆபிஸ் வந்தார், படம் ரிலீஸ் செய்யலாம் என்றேன். இதை ஜெய் ஆகாஷிடம் அவர் சொன்னார். பின்னர் ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் என் ஆபிஸ் வந்தார். கொஞ்ச நேரத்தில் பேசி முடித்தார். எங்கள் சங்கத்தில் உறுப்பின ராகவும் சேர்ந்தார்.
தியேட்டர்களில் பெரிய
நடிகர்கள் படங்கள் மட்டுமே ரிலீஸ் செய்ய எண்ணுகிறார்கள். அதெல்லாம் நீண்ட நாள் நீடிக்காது. சினிமாவை சிறுபட்ஜெட் படங்கள் தான் வாழ வைக்கின்றன. எனவே சிறுபட்ஜெட் படங்களையும் ரிலீஸ் செய்யுங்கள்.
திரைப்பட இயக்குனர் லியாகத் அலிகான் பேசியதாவது:
மம்முட்டிக்கு நான் 3 படம் செய்திருக்கிறேன். அவர் என்னிடம் சொன்னார். இந்த படத்தில் நான் ஹீரோ இல்லை ஸ்கிரிப்ட்தான் ஹீரோ என்றார். அது உண்மை என்பது தமிழ் சினிமா சமீபத்தில் நிரூபித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. சின்ன சின்ன படங்கள் பெரிய வெற்றி பெறுகின்றன. போர்த் தொழில், குட்நைட், அயோத்தி பெரிய வெற்றி படங்களாகி இருக்கிறது. பெரிய படங்கள் ஓப்பனிங் குத்தான் ஆட்களை கூட்டி வருகிறது. நல்ல படங்கள் அடுத்த காட்சிக்கே ஆட்களை கூட்டி வருகிறது. அப்படிப்பட்ட படமாக யோக்கியன் படம் விளங்க வேண்டும். இப்படத்தை இயக்கி உள்ள சாய்பிரபா மீனா வெற்றி பெற வாழ்த் துக்கள். அதேபோல் ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் நடிகர் விக்ரம் போல் பெரிய நடிகராக வர வாழ்த்துக்கள்.
இயக்குனர் செந்தில் நாதன் பேசியதாவது:
யோக்கியன் இயக்குனர் கொஞ்சம் கோபமாக பேசினார். எல்லா முதல்பட இயக்குனர் களும் கஷ்டங்களை , வலிகளை கடந்துதான் வந்திருக்கிறார்கள். நம் வெற்றிதான் எல்லா வற்றையும் மாற்றும். இந்த படத்தின் வெற்றி உங்களை நிச்சயமாக மாற்றும் . யோக்கியன் பட டிரெய்லர். இசை பாட்டெல்லாம் நன்றாக இருந்தது. ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் நடிப்பு ரொம்ப நன்றாக இருந்தது. அவர் கண்டிப்பாக பெரிய ஹீரோவாக வலம் வருவார்.
அமைச்சர் ரிட்டர்ன்ஸ் “பட நாயகி அக் ஷயா பேசியதாவது:
நான் கோயமுத்தூர் சேர்ந்தவள். நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று ஆசை இருந்தது. ஆனால் எப்படி சினிமாவுக்கு வர வேண்டும் என்று தெரிய வில்லை, நடிப்பு பற்றியும் தெரியாது. ஒருவர் மூலமாக ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் நம்பர் கிடைத்தது அவரை சந்தித்தேன் அவர்தான் எனக்கு அமைச்சர் ரிட்டர்ன்ஸ் படத்தில் ஹீரோயினாக நடிக்க வாய்ப்பு தந்தார். மற்றொரு படத்திலும் அவர் என்னை ஹீரோயினாக்கியிருக்கிறார். அவர்தான் என்னுடைய குரு. பட வாய்ப்பு தந்து , நடிப்பு சொல்லி கொடுத்தது அவர்தான்.
பட புரமோஷனுக்கு படத்தில் நடித்திருக்கும் ஹீரோயின் வர வேண்டும். ஆனால் வரவில்லை. நான் யோக்கியன் படத்தில் நடிக்கவில்லை ஆனாலும் எனனை அழைத்தால் வந்திருக் கிறேன். நான் டி வி சீரியல்களில் நடித்திருக்கிறேன். சினிமா விழாக்களுக்கு வருவதால்தான் எனக்கு தெரியாத நிறைய விஷயங்கள் தெரிய வருகிறது.
நடிகர் ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் பேசியதாவது:
அயோக்கியன் படத்தை பற்றி சொல்ல வேண்டு மென்றால் நான் கதை சொல்ல சொல்ல அதை எழுதுவதற்கு ஒரு எழுத்தாளர் தேவைப் பட்டார். அப்படி ஒரு எழுத்தாளராகத்தான் இயக்குனர் சாய் பிரபாமீனா என்னிடம் சேர்ந்தார். ஆனால் அவருக்கு சினிமா பற்றி எதுவுமே தெரியவில்லை. பிறகு எனக்கு உதவியாளராக அமர்த்தினேன். மாமரம் என்ற படம் நான் இயக்குகிறேன் அதில் உதவி இயக்குனராக பிரபா பணியாற்றினார். அமைச்சர் படத்திலும் பணியாற்றினார். அவருக்கு எல்லாம் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்தேன். ஒருகட்டத்தில் உங்களை வைத்து படம் இயக்க வேண்டும் என்றார். சரி, கதை சொல் என்றேன் அதுவும் சொல்லத் தெரியவில்லை. பிறகு நானே யோக்கியன் கதை எழுதி தந்தேன். யோக்கியன் என்றால் யார்? அயோகியனை காட்டினால்தான் யோக்கியனை காட்ட முடியும் . இதுதான் சுருக்கமாக இப்பட
கதை. இதுதவிர மொத்தம் 4 கதைகள் இதில் இருக்கிறது. தமிழ் சினிமாவில் இதுவரை வரவில்லை.
30 இரவுகள் நான் தூங்காமல் ரெடி செய்ததுதான் இந்த யோக்கியன் ஸ்கிரிப்ட். சாய் பிரபாமீனா இயக்குன ராக ஜெயிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக இந்த கதையை கொடுத்தேன். தற்போது சிறிய படங்களுக்கு தியேட்டர் தர மறுக்கிறார்கள். அதனால் எனது ஒ டி டி யில் ரிலீஸ் செய்ய எண்ணியிருந்தேன் ஆனால் இந்த படம் தியேட்டரில் ரிலீஸ் ஆக வேண்டும் என்று இயக்குனர் கேட்டார் அதனால் தியேட்டரில் ரிலீஸ் ஆகிறது. நான் டி வி சீரியல் நீதானே என் பொன் வசந்தம் நடிக்கி றேன் அதில் நிறைய ரசிகர்கள் கிடைத்து இருக்கிறார்கள்.
அவர்கள் என் படம் பார்க்க தியேட்டருக்கு வருவர்கள் என்ற நம்பிக்கை இருக்கிறது.
பயில்வான் ரங்கநாதன் பேசியதாவது:
ஜெய் ஆகாஷ் நடித்தி ருக்கும் யோக்கியன் வெற்றி பெற வாழ்த் துக்கள். சினிமாவை பொறுத்தவரை மற்ற மாநில சினிமாத்துறை நன்றாக இருக்கிறது. தமிழ் சினிமா துறை நன்றாக இல்லை. தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கங்கள், நடிகர் சங்கம் என எந்த சங்கமும் தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கு உதவவில்லை. சினிமாவில் தற்போது புதிய சர்ச்சை நிலவுகிறது. என் படத்தை காப்பி அடித்துவிட்டார்கள் என்று பிரச்சனையை கிளப்புகிறார்கள்.
தமிழ் சினிமா ஒன்றாக இல்லை பிரிந்து கிடக்கிறது . ஒரு படம் ஓடினால் அவனே காட்டிக்கொடுக்கிறான். பார்த்திபன் சொல்லித்தான் பொன்னியின் செல்வனுக்கு இன்கம் டேக்ஸ் ரெய்டு வந்தது. படம் ஓடினால் இன்கம்டேக்ஸ் வந்துவிடுகிறது. ஓடாவிட்டால் வட்டிக்காரன் வந்துவிடுகிறான்.
திரையுலகினர் ஒட்டுமொத்தமாக சென்று சிறுபட்ஜெட் படங்களுக்கு வரிவிலக்கு கொடுங்கள் என்று முதலமைச்சரிடம் கேட்டால் நிச்சயம் தருவார். இதை தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
இயக்குனர் சாய் பிரபா மீனா பேசியதாவது:
நான் நிறைய கம்பெனி கள் ஏறி இறங்கி விட்டேன் ஆனால் ஒருவர் கூட மதிக்கவில்லை. என் உடியை பார்த்து கேவலப் படுத்தினார்கள்.
என்னை மதித்து இயக்கு னராக எல்லாம் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்து படம் தந்தவர் ஜெய் ஆகாஷ்தான். அவரை யும் எனக்கு உதவியவர் களையும் என் வாழ்நாளில் மறக்க மாட்டேன்.
