Renowned Actor and Padma Vibhushan and Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winner Shri Rajnikanth visited Surya Command of Indian Army in Lucknow today, to interact with all ranks and families residing in Lucknow Cantonment. Surya Command is the key strategic Central command of the Indian Army, spreading across several states, with important training, logistics and other establishments under its area of responsibility.
Shri Rajnikanth addressed a gathering of armed forces personnel and their families at Surya Auditorium during his visit. He noted the deep respect and gratitude that all citizens feel for the Indian Army and its selfless service to the nation. He also conveyed gratitude for the role of the Indian Army in ensuring national security. Shri Rajnikanth, also highlighted the role that the Indian Army will play in Rising India’s future trajectory. Speaking about his close association with the Army, he said that a member of his family had been in service, which was a source of great pride for him. Following his address, Shri Rajnikanth interacted and mingled with all those present on the occasion, receiving a warm reception from the Surya Command fraternity.
Shri Rajnikanth was felicitated by General Officer Commanding – in – Chief (GOC-in-C) of Surya Command, Lieutenant General N. S. Raja Subramani, AVSM, SM, VSM. Shri Rajnikanth interacted with our troops and their families, who were thrilled to meet him.

கோவாவில் நடைபெறவுள்ள 37 ஆவது தேசிய விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகளில் பங்கேற்கும் தமிழ்நாட்டை சேர்ந்த 530 விளையாட்டு வீரர்களை தமிழ்நாடு ஒலிம்பிக் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் Dr. ஐசரி K. கணேஷ் மற்றும் பொதுச்செயலாளர் திரு ஆதவ் அர்ஜுனா ஆகியோர் வழியனுப்பி வைத்தனர்.
கோவாவில் அக்டோபர் 25 முதல் நவம்பர் 9 வரை இந்தப் போட்டி நடைபெற உள்ளது. சென்னை நேரு உள்விளையாட்டு அரங்கில் நடைபெற்ற இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் தமிழ்நாடு ஒலிம்பிக் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் Dr. ஐசரி K. கணேஷ் மற்றும் பொதுச்செயலாளர் திரு ஆதவ் அர்ஜுனா ஆகியோர் 37 வது தேசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டிகளில் பங்கேற்கும் வீரர்களின் அணிவகுப்புக்கான அதிகாரப்பூர்வ சீருடைகள் மற்றும் விளையாட்டு உபகரணங்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்தி வைத்தனர். இவர்களுடன் 116 அதிகாரிகள் கொண்ட குழுவும் கோவா செல்கிறது.
அப்போது உரையாற்றிய ஐசரி கணேஷ் பேசியதாவது கடந்த தேசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டியில் ஐந்தாம் இடம் கிடைத்தது, இந்த முறை இரண்டாம் அல்லது மூன்றாம் இடத்திற்கு வருவார்கள் என நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெறுபவர்களுக்கு பரிசுகள் அளிக்க உள்ளோம். இது மட்டுமல்லாது சென்னையில் மினி ஒலிம்பிக் நடத்த உள்ளோம் என்று கூறினார். விளையாட்டில் அரசியலையும் சிபாரிசையும் அனுமதிக்க மாட்டோம் என்று கூறியவர், விரைவில் தமிழகத்தில் தேசிய அளவில் போட்டிகள் அதிகம் நடைபெறும் என்றும் தெரிவித்தார்.
பொதுச்செயலாளர் ஆதவ் அர்ஜுனா, பேசியபோது தமிழ்நாட்டு வீரர் ஒலிம்பிக்கில் தங்கப் பதக்கம் வெல்ல வேண்டும் என்கிற கனவு விரைவில் நனவாகும் என்றார். மேலும் அதற்கான முன்னோட்டமாக ஆசிய விளையாட்டு போட்டி பதக்கங்கள் வென்றுள்ளோம் என்றார். அவர்களை கௌரவிக்கும் விதமாக விரைவில் பிரமாண்ட விழா நடத்தப்படும் என்றும், அதில் ஆசிய விளையாட்டுப்போட்டிகளில் பங்கேற்ற அனைத்து வீரர்களும் தங்கள் பெற்றோருடன் கலந்து கொள்ள ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படும் என்றும் கூறினார்.
