Ilayathilakam Prabhu, Ettu Thottakkal Vetri A father-son film, Rajputhiran. Krishna Priya is making her debut as the heroine. Komal Kumar, Mansoor Ali Khan, Iman Annachi, R. V. Udayakumar are also in the cast.
The film is directed by Mahakanthan. Cinematography is by Oliver Deny. Music is by Mouful Raja. Lyrics are written by Vairamuthu and Mohan Rajan. Produced by K. M. Sabi under Crescent Cine Creations.
The music and trailer launch of the film, which is set to release on May 30th, was held at Bharani Studios.
The film crew was accompanied by film industry personalities including actors Prabhu, Kalaipuli S. Thanu, producer-distributor K. Rajan, director S.A.Chandrasekaran, actor Mansoor Ali Khan, directors Vasanth, Pandiarajan, Nanda Periyasamy, Perarasu, Cinema Owners Association President Arulpathi, actor Aari, Sakthivel of Sakthi Film Factory, and producer G Dhananjayan participated.
Speaking about the film, director Mahakandan said, “The story is based on the love between a father and son. Vetri took to acting as soon as he heard the story.”
But I had to try hard to catch Prabhu sir. After trying hard, I met him and told him the story, which he liked and immediately agreed.Like the character Prabhu played in period films like Chinnathambi, his character in Rajputhiran is appealing to all sections of the society, especially family women.It’s entirely a family film and there’s also romance.
