The much-anticipated Malayalam film ‘L2: Empuraan’, starring Mohanlal, has an exciting addition to its cast—renowned Hollywood actor Jerome Flynn, known for his roles in Game of Thrones and John Wick: Chapter 3. The production team officially announced this news through a special video, creating immense excitement among fans.
Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, L2: Empuraan is the sequel to the blockbuster Lucifer. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saniya Iyappan, Kishore, Saikumar, and Sachin Khedekar. Jerome Flynn plays the pivotal character Boris Oliver in this high-octane action thriller. The film is produced by Subaskaran of Lyca Productions and Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas, with Sujith Vaassudev handling cinematography and Deepak Dev composing the music.

Speaking about his character and his experience working in India, Jerome Flynn said,
“I play the character Boris Oliver in this film. Working in the Indian film industry has been a completely different experience compared to my work in the UK and the US. Collaborating with Indian artists was truly unforgettable.”
He also spoke about his deep connection with India, recalling his spiritual journey to the country during his youth.
“India has played a significant role in my life. In my younger years, I traveled to India on a spiritual quest, and that journey transformed my life. It ultimately led me to pursue a career in cinema. Instead of describing my role, I would say that my character plays an essential part in Qureshi’s journey. I have thoroughly enjoyed portraying this role and hope everyone loves the film.”
